Finals and Chunin rank

A week later

In this time period I didn't do anything out of my usual practice for exam but it wasn't the same for itachi and especially Izumi who wanted to be a strong ninja just like her father. But she wasn't a genius like me and itachi so she pushed herself hard to train in this week. She was good in Taijutsu so she mostly focused on that with her fully evolved sharingan.

As for itachi, he wanted to surpass me so he trained hard for that reason.

I went to stadium where Chunin exam final was supposed to take place. Itachi and Izumi were with me.

After reaching there, Hokage said some will of his to everyone present and it officially started the first fight between me and Izumi who looked determined to fight even if she wasn't as strong as me.

We both took fighting stance and Izumi was the first to come at me. She punches and kicks on me which I dodge and evaded while attacking back in with punches and kicks as well. it went on for half a minute before we both took distance from each other.

Izumi threw shuriken at me and I deflated them with my own shuriken. We were continuously throwing shuriken while using Taijutsu to attack each other.

To the outside point of view, it looked like a fight between high level Chunin, The throwing of shuriken and Taijutsu combination really looked amazing in their eyes. They were really happy to see the fight between geniuses of uchiha clan.

Izumi and I both activated our sharingan which surprised everyone as it was rare to see a 10 year old with sharingan but we had already evolved it fully.

After activating sharingan we threw different fire jutsu at each other. The fight was getting intense. Izumi was now going all out. She used shuriken, fire style jutsu, and her Taijutsu techniques. This battle was already at the Chunin level now.

After 15 minutes of intense fighting, Izumi ran out of chakra. And directly fainted. and I obviously won. The Audience cheered for us as it was a good battle that they had witnessed.

I was given a half hour break. Although I wasn't tired after battle between Izumi and me but I still spent some chakra in this battle.

After 30 minutes, I and itachi were standing opposite to each other in stadium. I had a smile on my face as I had been quite long since we sparred seriously. Itachi was also excited but didn't let it show on his poker face.

Then the refree anounced the start of match. We both immediately took fighting stance and dashed at each other and started with light punch and kicks and as the time went on it turned into serious punch and kicks. Itachi took out his sword while activating his sharingan. I took out my kunai and activated my own sharingan. And we both attacked each other. Itachi used Genjutsu with his Kenjutsu to confuse me even if it'll only distract me for a while. Getting caught off guard against his Genjutsu for the first time, I immediately shouted inwardly 'Open the gate of opening' 'open gate of healing' 'open gate of life'.

I opened 3 gates at once that increased my overall prowess. And I attacked itachi much more fiercely. Getting caught off guard, he went into disadvantage position.

This technique immediately surprised everyone present. For some it was a new technique that they have never seen. For some it looked similar to a certain jonin of konoha and for some who knew this technique well were surprised that a 10 year old managed to open 3 gates that requires intense training for body for years and it also takes a toll on body greatly.

When I started attack itachi while Opening 3 gates, he didn't get any chance to attack back and was mostly focused on dodging. He never knew his sister had learned this type Taijutsu technique. But he calmed himself down really fast and decided to counter attack with Genjutsu. And it did succeeded in managing to avoid a few hits here and there. But eventually itachi was beaten up too much and announced "I give up the match".

And I won the final round as well.

While getting home with itachi, Izumi and my mother as well as sasuke who came to watch our exams. Itachi suddenly asked "Inako when did you learn 8 gates technique. I heard this technique takes years of dedication in only body training and it is still hard to open the gates."

"Yes you were very good in Taijutsu." Mikoto added to which Izumi also nodded.

"Hehe. I have been training my body for this training for last 4 years. So i managed to open them after training really hard." I replied with a smile while scratching back of my head. As it is rare to get praised by my family. But it feels good to be praised. 'No wonder sasuke always tries to seek attention from father to get praised but he still doesn't get any in front. As father doesn't want him to get too much arrogant like other uchiha.'

After getting home fugaku also congratulated us as we are sure to become Chunin tomorrow.

The next after my training, itachi came to me who said that hokage want both of us and Izumi to come in his office.

After going to Hokage's office, we saw an old man sitting in desk behind pile of papers. When he saw us he straightened back and said "Congratulations to three of you. from here on you three are Chunin of konohagakure. And I have decided to give itachi uchiha and Inako Uchiha offer to join my personal anbu team."

Well the offer is good but no thanks. I politely refused his offer. Which made him frustrated as he was rejected by me second time. Itachi decided to join anbu as shisui was in that team as well.

After getting our Chunin jackets we came back to our house.
