“Where are you going?” My sister called out for me as I picked up my tall boots. She put on a thick black coat as a supportive layer when I told her today’s destination.
“You want to go out for a movie...in this cold? Isn’t that a bit bizarre?!” She exclaimed just as I expected. About the weather, I knew full well without checking outside the window. Moscow now was freezing. The temperature was about to go below zero degrees celsius. Snow piled up by the road with new layers falling ceaselessly down from the sky.
“Let’s go…Rain,” I whispered to my sister then turned around to grab my beanie. Our condominium was not too far off from my intended destination. Today I would take the underground train from here to the walking street. I needed a stroll to calm my mind on a holiday. My work had been quite stressful. All the accounting documents I had to deal with on workdays made my stress level go up through the roof.
