“You have experienced something like this before?” Aya asked. Tan nodded in reply.
“A lot… More importantly, with a weird quest like this combined with how fancy this place and the buildings are, we are likely to face monsters with levels beyond 100. With no supporter in the party, we have a high chance of being killed,” he noted.
“What should we do?” she asked.
Tan pondered for a moment before opening his inventory and checking the cards he had. He pulled out about thirty or so recovery cards. “Take out melee weapon cards and replace them with these recovery cards. I’ll keep the monsters away from you. All you need to do is use these cards to support me. When you level up high enough, you can replace them with direct attack cards,” he explained.
Taka seemed to be talking to Aya through their minds. After they did that, Aya turned to Tan. “My brother asks what’s your level?” Aya asked calmly.
“99…” Tan answered.
