7 six: Whose picture in it?

"Can I take a look at this?" Yeon Hoon pointed at her necklace and asked.

"Oh, This? Okay, look." she doesn't know that there was a picture in her locket yet. She pulled off the necklace and gave it to Yeon Hoon. Both of them were sitting on the bed in his room. Though it was late no one inside this room can sleep so they were spending time together.

"How much it was?" he asked.

"I don't know. Someone gave me this," she replied and sighed. Yeon Hoon was looking at the necklace and that's why he didn't notice that she was sighing after that.

"Who gave you this? It's beautiful." he was feeling the prettiness of the object.

"You like it? Then, you can keep it." Lina said while thinking something else.

"But, it's yours. And someone gave you this. Won't that person will get hurt if he knows you gave it to another person?" he said. He was not meaning what he was saying. He was just trying to find out the truth about the guy who gave her this.

"Ah! It's okay! He is not that important person!" she said very simply. How hard it was for her to say these cruel words with a simple smile. But, she has no other choice. She determined not to go there anymore. She has been suffered much. In these two months, she thought that he changed but now she thinks she was wrong.

His brutality proves to her that he doesn't deserve a peaceful life. He needs to be punished. But, can she give him punishment? She can't because she thinks she is the one who made him like that. He was not like this when she met him. He has to go against his heart. She thought that he loves her but his heart belongs to someone else. But he has to lose that person because his parents liked Lina and they forced him to marry her. Maybe that's why he became bitter with his own life and they have a toxic relationship like this. She bears him until now but how long she has to sacrifice? How long she will bear his brutality? He nearly killed her. Yes, she has to die one day but why like this? She saw his most dangerous face that night. He was not less than a demon! It's better to die on the street rather than to live with him. Her all body parts are still hurting. If Yeon Hoon was not there, she still would have to lie on the ground like an abandoned body.

"Ah! He is not that important person!" Yeon Hoon felt relieved. He thought there was nobody who can defeat him in the love game.

"Hoon-ah!" she called by his name suddenly.

"Yes?" he replied immediately.

"Thank you for today. If you were not there I could have....." she was going to say more but he hold on to her mouth and didn't let her continue.

"Don't say like that. It was my pleasure that I can be useful to you," he said. The necklace was still in his hand and he was playing with it.

"I am really grateful. I don't know how I can thank you!" she was getting emotional. He looked at her face and he felt bad for her. Her wounds were still seen but seem like someone drew those wounds on her face.

"Noona! Why you make me feel shy? Don't be dramatic. It was my duty." when he was answering her and playing with the necklace, suddenly it falls on the ground and the locket gets opened. Both of them looked at it and they thought, it has been broken.

"Ah! I am sorry." while saying this he took it from the ground and suddenly noticed that there were two photos inside the locket.

"Oh! There are photos in it too?" he surprised and asked.

"Oh! Really? Let me see." she said but Yeon Hoon didn't give her that because he was more curious than her. Suddenly she remembered, Rumi gives her the necklace, what if he included his photo in it? No, That can't happen. She wanted to snatch the necklace from his hand but she couldn't as he was stronger than her.

"Give me!" she shouted.

"No! Let me take a look at first." saying this he take a look carefully. He was surprised and looked at Lina.

"Noona! What is this?" he asked surprisingly.

"What?" as she couldn't understand what he was talking about, she couldn't give him an answer.

"This is you, right? And this is..." he stopped. Lina was surprised and take a look at that and surprised. She never imagines he attached photo inside it. So, she gets a shock and take a look at it. When she saw the pictures inside she got more shocked. She has to process her mind to admit that she was seeing the pictures for real.

[In the hospital near the escalator]

"When you last saw her?" Mr. Park took out his notepad and start to note for investigation.

"Last night." Dae Ju replied.

"Last night before you cut your nerve?" he asked like it was nothing.

"Why you kept reminding me about that? No, the night before yesterday." Dae Ju said.

"Why she left home!" he asked. But Dae Ju suddenly couldn't give him an answer. What would he say to him? Should he say that he beat her? Or else, he should tell a lie to him? He couldn't understand anything suddenly. He kept quiet and make his guilty look. He looked at the floor and sighed.

"What? If you don't give me the right answer, I can't help you." Mr. Park was a little bit hard on him.

"We quarreled and I was a bit harsh on her." he has to tell the lie. What can he say more than that? If he tell what happened in reality, the detective would never understand and believe him. And he will also put him in jail. He agrees to go to jail but if he goes then how can he find her? How can he get sure if she is fine or not? Does anyone else help him to find her?

"Oh! Why you quarreled? And how harsh you were on her? What did you do to her?" Mr. Park asked. This time also he has to stay quiet. When he remembered the incident his whole body starts shivering. He started breathing heavily. He doesn't want to remember about that incident but he couldn't forget about the night either.

"I don't remember very well but maybe it began with the training," he replied and bend his head down.

"What? Training? After you return from my training? Seriously?" the detective was astonished by his answer.

"Yes, as I was late she didn't let me get inside the house. And it began from there." he couldn't tell him the truth that he passed out near his home and he was possessed by the evil.

"Ah! Then she opened the door and you started quarreling with her?" he asked. "Yes."

"What time was it then?" he asked and looked at him with suspicious eyes. He could understand that Dae Ju was lying to him.

"Maybe past 2.30 am," he replied.

"Ah! Do you have any idea where she could go?" he asked.

"No." Dae Ju replied with a very low voice.

"Do you know anyone close with her?" he continued interrogating him as it was his job. But Dae Ju's job was not answering because he doesn't know too much about her. And he could never imagine that she could go with Yeon Hoon because she told him earlier that she will not gonna meet with him again.

"Okay, Her phone number?" the detective asked for her phone number so that he can track her.

"She left her phone at home." Dae Ju replied simply.

"Then it's gonna be a hard mission. You don't know anyone close with her! You don't know where she could go! If you don't know anything about her how can you call yourself her husband?" Mr. Park was yelling at him. Jheong Woo and Soo Mi came there and found Dae Ju as both of them were looking for him. Dae Ju couldn't reply to him because Mr. Park was true. And it was also true that he is not her real husband though he loves her. He kept bending his head as he was standing inside the wooden fence in a court and Mr. Park was a very honest lawyer but he has to prove himself as a criminal no matter how.

"H-he f-forgot e-everything after the accident a-and he didn't get his full memory back yet." Jheong Woo said hesitatingly.

"Nobody asked you. Do you guys think I am a fool? When I asked that suspicious about him, you guys keep saying that he lost his memory. But when he came to me, he never said that he lost his memory! Why? If you need my help then tell me the truth! Or else, I can't help you!" he yelled at them.

"Sorry, but can you guys go outside and talk? It's a hospital." a nurse was coming down and she heard him talking loudly.

"Ah! Yes, I am sorry!" the detective said to the nurse and looked at Dae Ju as he will kill him now.

"We are sorry!" Dae Ju bowed to her and noticed that someone was glaring at him. He looked at the ground. He couldn't say more than that. Mr.Park was going downstairs and seeing him, Dae Ju silently followed him.

"Detective Park!" Dae Ju summoned him with a very low voice.

"What now?" he asked while walking outside.

"Please help me to find her." Dae Ju nearly begged him.

"I can just try. Why you people wanted to keep the unhealthy relation like this!" he sighed. Looks like he saw many cases like that.

"What would you do now?" Dae Ju asked and keep following him.

"Why you are worrying about me? I will find a way. You better go and take rest." Mr. Park said but not loudly. He was looking very disappointed at Dae Ju.

"Can I stay with you until you find her?" Dae Ju was feeling guilty and he wanted to find her no matter what.

"Why you woke up? Aish!" he was annoyed with Dae Ju.

"What?" Dae Ju is surprised and goes in front of him.

"What did you just say? Didn't you say that you need me?" he laughed.

"Ah! Forget it! Let's go!" the detective make a face on Dae Ju and said.

"Oh, Really? Are you really saying that I can come?" Dae Ju's face brightened with joy.

"Yes, But don't irritate me. Please! I beg you!" he said coldly.

Jheong Woo and Soo Mi were watching them from far. They were surprised by his duality. It was not so long that he wanted to finish himself but now, he is excited!

"Ah! I can never understand him!" Jheong Woo said.

"Tell me the truth, did he really wanted to die because of that bitch?" Soo Mi asked him.

"What? How dare you to call her bitch?" Jheong Woo astonished and looked at her.

"I just tell you the truth! If she didn't appear in our life, our life was perfect! She married him forcefully! She just wanted him by hook or by crook. Though he loves me, he had to marry her as his parents liked her so much and his dad just wanted to make a sweet relation with his best friend who was her dad! Ah! She is a real bitch! I can never forgive her!" she was exposing her rage to Jheong Woo. As Jheong Woo wasn't aware of this story, he wondered by hearing all of this.

[At Yeon Hoon's place]

"Noona! Don't tell me that you love this guy?" he astonished.

"Yes," she bends her head down and her face got blushed with embarrassment.

"Really? Aish! Why you didn't tell me earlier?" he asked and looked at her.

"If I tell you sooner, what can you do?" she asked while bending her head more.

"Ei! I know him. I can fix you a meeting with him." he said though he was not happy about that.

"But, how? He is in hospital now! And when I met you first, he was in the hospital back then too! So, don't you think it was a useless thing to talk about?" she said. Now she straightens her head and looked at Yeon Hoon.

"Ah! But you can visit him at least! I will take you there tomorrow." he said and looked at her face.

"Really? Her face filled with joy and happiness.

"I c-can meet him?" she explored her happiness. Yes, but you can just watch him as he can't talk with you." Yeon Hoon smiled through the pain.
