Chapter 7 fighting with demonic beast

He knows, but he needs to face the ferocious beast. Yang Kai's movements become increasingly cautious and soft. Slowly, he gropes his way through the tunnel, and after about ten feet, he spots the little boy.

The son is in a similar situation to his father, wrapped up in a cocoon suspended in mid-air by a larger spider web.

At the side of the little boy, there is an enormously large flower-patterned spider sucking his teeth on the little boy's arm, and you can clearly see the dark red blood streaming into the spider's mouth.

Yang Kai has no idea how he will kill the spider, but with great effort, he holds a sword in his hand and walks slowly toward the spider, thinking about the spider's capabilities and forming an appropriate plan.

Every second he delays increases the chances of this little boy ascending straight to heaven.

After a moment's silence, he suddenly charges forward.

The enormously large, flower-patterned spider does not expect to be disturbed at that moment. 

Shortly after Yang Kai charges forward, a large amount of force is applied to the side of the Demonic Spider, and a large hole is torn in the web. 

The flower-patterned spider falls alongside Yang Kai. The little boy also falls through the hole and onto the ground.

Being attacked so suddenly causes the flower-patterned spider to be furious. Its eight long, hairy legs stamp the ground, and all of its eyes focus on Yang Kai.

Before he even has time to get up, Yang Kai thrusts his sword at the spider's eyes but sadly misses the eyes and only cuts a single leg.

Yang Kai snarls; a steel fist flies out and lands squarely on the throat of the spider. This momentarily stuns it, and Yang Kai takes the opportunity to kick the spider, sending it flying away.

With a quick rush, Yang Kai stands in front of the spider and once again thrusts his sword to kill it in one move, but the spider gets away by only losing its eye.

"Hisssss," the flower-patterned spider yells in anger and shoots its web at the entrance of the cave to block it.

"So, you want to fight to the death," Yang Kai says in an irritated tone.

With the current situation, if he doesn't kill the spider, he will not be able to leave. Since it has come to that, he can only fight to the end, either you die or I die.

"But I will not die; I need to enjoy my life in this world. Come, spider, let me show you your place," Yang Kai says while rushing at the spider with a sword in his hand.

Abruptly, the flower-patterned spider opens its mouth to spit out a long, gem-silk thread. It spits the thread toward Yang Kai, signaling the start of its attack.

Previously, Yang Kai learned about this thread's durability, so naturally, he is wary not to be trapped by it. At once, he rolls to the side and narrowly dodges the attack.

After dodging three of these threads in succession, he has finally closed the distance between them. But before he can throw out a punch, the flower-patterned spider raises its front two legs and drives them towards him.

Yang Kai can only lift up his arm to block; the spider's forelimbs pierce through his arm, and because of this, his sword falls on the ground.

Yang Kai roars out in pain; his blood boils out. Not only is he not in a fearful panic, but instead, he has an indescribable feeling of excitement and anticipation in his heart. All of his bones clanking together cause a warm feeling to pass through his entire body.

Throwing out a punch, Yang Kai's fist whistles through the air and smashes into the eyes on the right-hand side of the flower-patterned spider's head. The moment his fist hits, it pulverizes two eyes.

The flower-patterned spider is horrified. Even with its limited intellectual capacity, it knows to fear that human with blood dripping from their arm. When it goes to retract its two legs that were lodged in Kai Yang's arms, the spider finds that the arm muscles have tightened around its forelimbs, so the spider can't pull them out.

When Yang Kai sees the opportunity, he quickly picks up his sword and thrusts it into the spider's stomach.

The flower-patterned spider screeches out in pain, incessantly trying to retreat, but its hind legs can only scratch at the ground. In desperation, it lashes out at Yang Kai, leaving many shallow wounds on his arms. Although they aren't deep, they still draw blood.

But the pain only served to increase Yang Kai's excitement; his whole body brimmed with overflowing strength. 

The corners of his mouth curved into a cold and merciless smile as his fists flew endlessly toward the spider's forehead. Under the unceasing barrage of attacks, the flower-patterned spider's forehead cracked open, and its bodily fluids oozed out.

A soft whimper escaped from its mouth; the flower-patterned spider did not wish to sit and wait for its death. From its mouth, it spat out streams of web, and at such close proximity, the web wrapped Kai Yang up.

However, at that moment, the flower-patterned spider was in a horrible state. Despite trapping him with its web, under Kai Yang's relentless fists, it soon ceased all signs of struggling.

Yang Kai could have never imagined he could win a fight with a demonic beast. Furthermore, not only had he survived, but he had also killed it.

"I finally killed it. It was a really narrow escape; if I hadn't defended against its attack with my hand, it would probably have been able to kill me. But it was really fun; the last time I had fun like this was when I bullied others in school," he thought with a satisfied smile.

Despite sustaining many wounds, Yang Kai's body didn't hurt too much. Although his wounds weren't considered light, he didn't feel much pain from them, as if they were nothing at all.
