Chapter 20 Su Yan Part 2

Smiling, Su Mu said, "Senior brother, wait for me here, and I will take you to a good place."

[ wait this is not the legendary red light district, right] he thought with excitement.

"What good place?" Yang Kai asked doubtfully but laughed in his mind.

Su Mu only laughed without answering, telling him to wait and that he definitely wouldn't be disappointed.

Inside Black Wind Forest, a line of Sky Tower disciples walked into the depths.

Yang Kai naturally knew where they were going but pretended to be confused. "Junior brother, where are we going?"

"Senior brother, you won't be disappointed. Last time I went there, I got a Tianyuan Fruit for just twenty silver!" Everyone gasped, listening to him. In a normal market, Tianyuan Fruit costs more than two thousand silver when everyone is about to ask questions.

At that moment, bustling noise from up ahead transmitted over. Yang Kai lifted up his head to look and saw a large clearing in the dense forest. In that clearing was a buzz of voices, like a great marketplace. The three schools' disciples were all gathered here with big and small stalls lined up with their glittering wares, displaying various products. It was a feast for the eyes.

"Chinese infrastructure is really beautiful neat, clean, and magical," he thought.

There were also ten or so wooden houses on the perimeter, with the construction being somewhat simple. There were large ones and smaller ones; the smaller ones were probably for living in, while the larger ones were for people to shelter from the rain as they could house a large amount of people.

Because it was currently very sunny, the disciples from the three factions had set up their booths outside under the sun.

Black Wind Trade was like a completely different world in itself.

"Well then, we have arrived." Su Mu's main goal this time was to bring Yang Kai here, ensuring that he knew about these types of places. So, if there were things he needed in the future, he could come over here to trade for them.

"This place isn't bad." Looking at the bustling crowd trading in the clearing, his face revealed his excitement.

Laughing, Su Mu said, "Of course, for this place has the things that we low-level martial practitioners need. Furthermore, you don't need to worry about safety, for each of the three factions has some of their experts stationed here to oversee and maintain public order. Do you see that small wooden house? That is the home of our Sky Tower overseer, and my older sister is in there."

"Your older sister?" Yang Kai looked towards him, remembering how last time Su Mu had come looking for trouble, and said that his older sister was a core disciple. Core disciples were the future hope of Sky Tower.

Su Mu suddenly became alert. "I will warn you first, don't have any ideas with my sister."

Yang Kai couldn't help but laugh.

Su Mu said again, "But even if you did have an interest in her, I'm afraid you won't have the ability to reach her."

"Your older sister is very powerful?"

"Of course. True Element Third Stage, not many of the younger generation are qualified to become her opponents."

"Since your older sister is that talented, why are you only at the Tempered Body Stage?" Yang Kai asked Su Mu, smiling.

Like he was being repeatedly poked in a sore spot, Su Mu immediately became embarrassed. After being at a loss for a while, he replied, "It's not good, but don't worry, for I will work harder to cultivate. After all, I can't allow you, a trial disciple, to surpass me."

"Let's go, I'll first take you to meet my older sister. With her protection, it will be easier to do what we need to do in this Black Wind Trade."

Since they said they were going to meet Su Mu's elder sister, everybody's expression immediately became serious. Even Su Mu himself went to tidy up his clothes and brushed all the dust from them.

You could see clearly that Su Mu was really afraid of his sister or even worshipped her.

Surrounding the wooden houses, Yang Kai went to observe the house it looked like these few houses were where the important Sky Tower members lived.

Su Mu was a bit nervous and took a few light breaths before carefully walking up the steps. Then, he elegantly raised his hand and lightly tapped the door a couple of times. In a strange kitten-like voice, he said, "Elder sister, I've come to visit you."

While Li Yun Tian and the others tried hard to hold back their laughter, their shoulders started shaking.

Su Mu knew the people behind him were laughing and really wanted to turn around and glare at them.

"Come in!" A light and cold voice came from inside, sounding like a clear mountain spring, new to their ears.

Su Mu gestured for the others to follow and then walked inside.

Once inside, Yang Kai secretly looked around and saw that this house was even simpler than the wooden hut he living in right now. There was nothing inside, but the outside noise was unexpectedly filtered out, making the house peaceful.

This wooden house must have some kind of secret; otherwise, it wouldn't have this effect.

As he observed the house, Su Mu suddenly let out a blood-curdling screech. Not far away in front of him was a woman dressed in snow-white clothes with a frosty expression.

This woman had luscious and beautiful black hair, crescent-shaped eyebrows, bright and slender eyes, a small and cute nose, peach-pink cheeks, delicate cherry lips, and glistening pale jade-like skin. She had a dainty, graceful, and slender physique; indescribably enchanting.

Currently, that woman was sitting cross-legged, looking at Su Mu. Without saying anything, they knew this was Su Yan.

"Do you know why I hit you?" Su Yan asked.

Su Mu shook his head, saw a terrifying glint in his sister's eyes, and quickly nodded.

"Tell me." Su Yan's voice was extremely light.

"It's because I was beaten by someone," Su Mu admitted.

The latter's face remained unempathetic. "Why did you get beaten by them?"

"My skill wasn't good enough..." Su Mu lowered his head a bit more.

"Why wasn't your skill enough?" Su Yan continued to question to get to the root of the problem.

Su Mu could only honestly answer her, "I didn't practice diligently enough."

Su Yan nodded lightly. "You still have a bit of intelligence! Then you know what to do in the future?"

"I know."
