Kim Seijin jerked to the side, instincts flaring, and caught a glimpse of the demon woman. She was already at his back, her speed unsettling. His heart pounded harder, knowing what was coming, but before he could even act, she moved again. A blur—one moment behind him, and then, with a wicked laugh that echoed across the passageway, she appeared right in front of him. Her fangs glinted in the dim light, barely visible, but menacing enough.
"Take this!" she shouted, her claws slashing through the air with terrifying speed. Seijin's eyes widened. Her severed limb had already regenerated, faster than he'd anticipated. The red arc of energy created by her attack streaked through the air, too quick for him to process.
