Seung's teeth clenched tightly, his eyes burning with unshed tears as he saw Jinhu spiraling downward, the dagger embedded deeply in his chest. The world around him slowed, every sound muted except for the thundering pulse in his ears. He tried to move, to run to Jinhu, but his legs refused to obey.
All he could do was stand frozen, his breath shallow as disbelief clawed at his mind. "Jinhu..." he murmured, his voice barely above a whisper, choked with sorrow.
