"Hey! Hey!" A commanding, deep voice echoed loudly.
"Wake up before I force you to," the voice repeated, filled with authority and condescension. "God, you slaves really make me eat my goat. Wake up now, Rookie 100!"
Seung's brows furrowed as he noticed a faint red glow through his closed eyelids.
'Why am I facing the sun?' he thought, his brow knitting tighter. He could hear indistinct movements around him, like the rustling of grass underfoot. 'Where am I? Is this really the Trister Dimension?'
He strained to listen further and caught the sound of metallic clinks and the excited whinnying of horses. 'Don't tell me that innocent creature is dwelling in Trister Dimension as well.'
He realized he must have crossed dimensions; the ambient noises confirmed it. If he were still in the subway's dungeon, he wouldn't be hearing these sounds.
A soft, brushy surface caressed his back, almost lulling him into staying put.
