Ember Hall Trial Part 2

Tyler clenched his sword and took a deep breath. He could feel the oxygen reaching the depth of every cell in his body. At the same time, his cells were also surging with lightning energy.

Tyler put the sword inside his sheath and using the Lightning Boots, he dashed toward the projection. At this moment, the projection was ready for the next battle.

He instantly thrust his sword forward and pulled it back, then again thrust it forward. He did this five times, at five different points, forming a standing rectangle with the final thrust in the middle.

[Instant Kill]

Tyler raised his head and his eyes suddenly charged lightning sparks. He clenched his left fist and raised his hand. He thrust his fist forward without any reservation even before the swords could strike him.

[Thunder Drum]

Bang!

His fist struck the air with intense power. The lightning bolt burst out of his fist and struck the four wind pressure points while his fist collided against the tip of the sword.

Crack! Crack! Crack! Crack! Bang!

The four wind-pressured points exploded and the sword in the projection's hand got broken into pieces.

Tyler didn't stop. He forced an even greater amount of lightning energy into his fist and moved forward. He slightly changed the direction of his fist and passed through his hand, striking his chest.

[Thunder Drum]

Bang! Bang!

It was like a double strike. One strike was his physical strength and the other was the lightning bolts releasing out of his fist. At this moment, the mark on his started decreasing rapidly.

But, it didn't reach zero rather stopped at 10%.

"You might be able to copy my moves and do something that I haven't done yet. But, this is where it ends."

Tyler swung his body and his foot struck the head of the projection.

Crack! Bang!

At this moment, the percentage went down the zero and the projection exploded into bits and pieces, falling to the ground.

Tyler looked at the bits and pieces of the projection and his expression turned serious.

'I never expected it was able to do something that I hadn't done yet. Wait, does that mean if the next projection inherits my Lightning Energy, it would be able to do Holy Lightning Armor?'

Tyler knew the power of this armor. It was the sixth-rank elemental art. Just a scratch from the fifth-rank elemental art was able to decrease HP by 32%. It was stunning but also dangerous.

If his opponent manages to use the Holy Armor and Thunder Shadow Sword at the same time, he would be invincible. Because even he doesn't have enough lightning energy to perform two elemental arts at the same time.

"Congratulations! You have successfully finished the first level. I must say I was surprised when your projection appeared. It only had one-fourth of your true strength but it had already surpassed 80% of people who had been here for the trial at your cultivation realm."

The rabbit clapped his hands as he moved forward and congratulated Tyler.

Tyler didn't care about his congratulation. He simply nodded and asked, "After the battle, can I get time to rest?"

"Yes, but there is a limit. The moment you enter this place, all of your conditions have been checked. That means the moment your stamina and spiritual energy recover, you will be forced to take the next trial." The rabbit nodded and spoke.

"Is it just for a certain level or for all levels?" Tyler asked.

"For levels. Even if you want to take rest after the fourth level, you still can." The rabbit answered.

"So, is there any time limit? What if I took too long to recover? Would you still force me into the trial?" Tyler asked.

"Haaa! You truly have a lot of issues. But, don't worry, we won't force you until you are completely recovered. Since you can only challenge the Ember Hall once in your lifetime." The rabbit sighed but as he revealed the latter information, his expression got serious.

Tyler was also surprised but he didn't care much. He planned to finish all of this at once. He took a deep breath and sat down. He had to recover his stamina and spiritual energy.

At this moment, a table appeared in front of him and a blue panel appeared above the table. There was a strange blue pill on the table and an Energy Crystal (EC).

"The blue pill will restore your stamina while Energy Crystal will restore your spiritual energy. Naturally, once you spend your stamina, you need to eat something to recover, so that pill is your food pill."

"And, since you have crossed the first level, you can choose your reward. Remember, you can only choose one."

Hearing his words, Tyler suddenly remembered his previous words. He was a bit excited since he previously thought he could only choose a reward once. But, he forced himself to stop and asked.

"Wait, if I choose now, can I still choose later?"

Looking at these, Tyler turned his head at the rabbit with confusion.

"Does this mean I can choose one from each section or each from both sections?"
