Hearing the doctor's name mentioned by Ryan, Hazel frowned.

"Do I look like such a sick person that I should talk to your partner?" asked Hazel, full of curiosity.

"Uhm... no, but if you don't mind, let's talk to him first."

Hazel turned to John who was on the call, then turned to Ryan, in turn. She looked doubtful by Ryan's words. it could be that they are news hunters who are prying for news with their stepmother who is now hospitalized.
