John, with a pale face, tried to greet Clara who was clearly annoyed. Really annoyed. Even seeing John in front of her once, didn't make the girl at least smile.
His face was full of emotion at perhaps feeling aggrieved by John's absence.
The girl then came closer, so close, that John could inhale the distinctive floral fragrance that always wafted from his body. A scent that John had recognized from the first time he met her and now, even if he closed his eyes, he would know who was in front of him.
"I'm here to drag you over to Ryan's house, and don't make excuses for this and that, because it won't make any sense." The girl dragged John's hand out of the house.
Meanwhile, John just went along without wanting to refuse, or even saying that he was in an unhealthy condition. If that's the case, fine. maybe it would be better if he did his duty first, then rested all day at home.
