Chapter 59: General's Lovesickness

"Bro… you're squeezing her hand too tightly…" Mu Chenzhou warned him 'kindly' with a fake smile.

Su Xiangwan glanced at him once more and tried to pull her hand away again.

Mu Beiting slowly let go now, his face was calm without any guilt.

Su Xiangwan kept her hands behind her back, and, without batting an eyelid, she asked, "Why are you here?"

Mu Beiting stared into her eyes, "'General' refuses to eat ever since he went back."

Upon hearing this, Su Xiangwan frowned and squatted next to him, looking at Mr. Er Bing who she hadn't seen for days, and yet, seemed much sturdier than before. She gently stroked his head and said warmly, "What's wrong little guy? Why aren't you eating? Did you miss me…"

Before she could finish speaking, Er Bing slipped past her and joyously ran straight to the living room, where he now found his food bowl with ease, he then began wolfing down the dog food.

After seeing this, Mu Beiting's face stiffened, he felt quite embarrassed.

You good-for-nothing foodie!

You already ate so much before you came!

Su Xiangwan raised an eyebrow as she looked at Mu Beiting, "Didn't you say that he refuses to eat?"

"Yeah, he wouldn't eat at home," Mu Beiting replied calmly.

Mu Chenzhou leaned against the door sighing, he pointed out. "Hey… it seems that 'General' is lovesick. See, Wanwan, he got better as soon as he saw you."

Lovesick?

Su Xiangwan frowned, she found his words to be quite weird.

Mu Beiting glanced at him coldly, his eyes flashed with warning.

Mu Chenzhou simply mocked at him. "Hey bro, don't you think so too?"

"Shut up."

Su Xiangwan ignored the brothers' quarrels, she then turned to pour more dog food for Er Bing. After all, the food bowl had been empty in the days he was absent.

Seeing her turn around, Mu Beiting immediately followed inside.

Mu Chenzhou had a slower reaction and tried to keep up.

Suddenly, the door closed with a bang, locking him outside. It almost clamped on his nose.

"Mu Beiting…" Mu Chenzhou was furious as he squeezed these two words through his teeth.

Inside the house, Su Xiangwan heard the door close, she turned around to check who came in, only to fall into a strong embrace. She stepped back and regained her balance.

"You… why did you get in?" Su Xiangwan said subconsciously, she felt that this man grew increasingly dangerous as they met.

But then, she remembered that he couldn't really do anything to her anyways and relaxed.

Mu Beiting's deep black eyes stared at her for a few seconds. "I haven't eaten either."

Su Xiangwan hesitated, worried that he wouldn't leave again like last time.

But then again, he was the Mu family's Young Master, he wouldn't be that silly. Besides, she even wore those kinds of clothes in front of him last night, she was afraid of nothing.

Su Xiangwan looked at him and said, "Okay, I'll make something for you?"

"Yeah."

After hearing this, Su Xiangwan didn't refuse. After all, Mu Beiting wasn't married yet and the position for Mrs. Mu was still sort of open, it was better for her to still fight for it.

Besides, even if she doesn't manage to become Mrs. Mu, once she thought back to what Zhao Xinning did to her in her previous life. Creating some troubles for her sounded quite good as well.

"What do you want to eat?" Su Xiangwan walked towards the fridge to see what kind of food she had left.

However, when she opened the door, she felt a little awkward.

It was because inside her refrigerator, there was barely any food.

Once she turned around to Mu Beiting, she said awkwardly, "Um… would you like boiled noodles or miso noodles?"

Mu Beiting looked on at her silently.

"Or instant noodles… or... spaghetti?"
