Her dad was in the laboratory that night. He picked up the nitrogenous base and demorganicphyll drug, and slowly burnt them in a test tube to get a white milky solution. The density of the liquid was so much that he needed to increase the flames of Bunsen burner and let the liquid to form a loosely packed liquid.

He could not find a glass petri dish or a glass container to keep the mixture, so he headed to the kitchen and poured the mixture into a drinking glass to cool it down, before entering the shower.

Meanwhile, three year old Lian and her mom came to the laboratory to give company to her dad.

On arriving at the laboratory, her mother settled her on the couch, and wandered to the kitchen to find something to feed Lian. Her mother's eyes caught up the glass of milk kept on the kitchen counter. She thought her husband knew what was the first thing she was going to search.

She took the glass of the milk which was actually the mixture of two different chemical drugs and fed the whole mixture to Lian, unaware of the fact that Lian was fed drugs and not milk.

Her dad came out of the shower just to know that his wife had unknowingly fed the whole glass of experimental mixture, thinking it to be milk, to their three old year kid.

The drug was unknown to him.

The reaction of the drug was unknown to him as well as other scientists and doctors.

No one could tell a solution to cure Lian, everyone waited for the drugs reaction but for next twelve hours, there was no reaction but later what happened was enough to trigger alarm in everyone's mind.

Lian's mother shouted from the room, when her dad reached her room, he couldn't see Lian except that her mother was crying.

"What happened? Where's Ye Lian? Why did you shout so loud?" her dad questioned her mom.

Her mom gestured toward the bed, a movement in the sheets was all that could be seen. He was shocked.

"Li—Lian?" his voice cracked.

"Aye...papa!" Lian said and her mom wailed in pain.

Ye Lian was invisible! Her movements with objects could be seen, even her voice could be heard but nobody could see her and her worn clothes.

Her dad stood up to close the blinds, so that neighbours could not see anything. As the blinds were drawn, the room was dark with a single lamp and Lian was slightly visible.

The Law Court decided that this drug was extremely dangerous to people. This drug could be used to fulfill illegal needs of an individual.

Moreover, this drug didn't have a cure to recover a being. So it was better not to reveal Lian's case to the media and other hospitals. So all the testing to find an antidote of this drug will only be considered with seven scientists and 4 doctors only in that laboratory itself.

The court also declared a year imprisonment for Lian's dad, as he made such a dangerous drug without an antidote and left that carelessly in the laboratory kitchen.

No one could find a cure to Lian's disorder. Her mom saw her child grow up as an invisible daughter in the daylight. She was sent to night school in Tokyo.

An year later, her father saw Lian's condition, he felt guilty of and committed suicide. Ye Lian lost her father at the age of five.

Her mother worked her ass off to earn a living, but when expenses for her school were increasing, her mother sold her body every morning to earn money and lived the life of a mother at night.

Soon Lian reached her puberty and a pimp of her mother killed her Mom. Lian lost her mom too.

Lian was adopted by their neighbor Aunt Sila, a very young unmarried woman who was infertile. Aunt Sila adopted Lian after her mother passed away and being acquainted by Lian's disorder, she accepted Lian as her own daughter. Aunt Sila brought her far from Tokyo, far from the world where she lost everything.

Her parents, her home and most importantly her identity and herself!

She was left alone, in this world on her own with a disorder, with a dream and a desire to be a human just like her dream every morning.
