Birth of the Dream Dungeon

"It took Alex a grueling 15 minutes of relentless walking before he finally arrived at his destination". With a heavy sigh, Alex looked upon the old building that stood defiantly before him. "It is nothing like the majestic image depicted in the photo crystal, but I suppose it is still tolerable," he muttered under his breath.

The building towered above Alex, emanating an undeniable grandeur that demanded attention. Standing tall at three stories, it served as a remarkable symbol of the years gone by. The three-story building stood proudly amidst a sea of small trees, its weathered wooden exterior bearing witness to the passage of time. From a distance, one could spot the occasional crack in the aged timber. Spider silk stretched across the corners and door frames, glistening in the soft light that filtered through the canopy above.

As Alex approached, the scent of damp earth and moss enveloped him, adding a touch of enchantment to the already mystical atmosphere. "Damn it all!" he exclaimed in frustration, his voice echoing through the halls. "Is this truly the place where I will establish my Dungeon and forge my so-called future business?"

Taking a deep breath Alex entered inside the building

As Alex drew closer, the scent of damp earth and moss grew more potent, enveloping him completely. The building resembled a shop straight out of the medieval era, evoking a sense of timelessness. Upon entering, the heavy scent of earth and moss assailed his senses. As he explored the interior, a sudden interference disrupted his thoughts, as if appearing out of thin air.

[Name: Normal wood Condition: Very bad]

Undeterred, Alex resolved to establish his dungeon within this structure, regardless of the challenges it presented. Even if it meant reconstructing the building from scratch, he was determined to make this place his stronghold. Here, hidden from prying eyes, his dungeon would thrive, enabling him to grow at an exceptional rate.

"I am ready to create my dungeon," Alex whispered to himself.

[Ding!]

Suddenly, an alarm sounded in his head, and a screen interface materialized before his eyes.

[Do you wish to convert the building into your Dungeon?] [Yes / No]

"Something is better than nothing," Alex thought. With a smile, he pressed 'yes' without hesitation.

In an instant, a Dungeon Core emerged from his inventory and burst forth, enveloping the space in a brilliant light. The surroundings began to transform into the ethereal realm of dreams. It was a sight beyond Alex's wildest imagination, a breathtaking beauty he had never witnessed before.

As the connection formed, Alex could sense and experience everything within the three-story building. He felt the texture of the wooden walls, the delicate touch of spider silk, and even the emotions of the creatures residing within. Everything within the space mutated and transformed into Dream Realm creatures, becoming a part of Alex's power—"Dream."

After about ten minutes, Alex could fully understand and perceive everything within the building. However, a sudden gathering of light in the middle of his chest caused piercing pain to surge through him.

Alex immediately realized that his body was undergoing a transformation, evolving into the true sovereign.

Simultaneously, the old three-story building emitted a radiant glow. Since the sun still illuminated the surroundings, the light emitted by the building went unnoticed to onlookers.

Covered in sweat, Alex exclaimed, "Finally, this damn ordeal is over."

His white shirt clung to his body, drenched in perspiration as if he had been doused with a bucket of water.

As the light subsided, another notification resounded in Alex's mind.

[Congratulations, you have established a Dungeon.]

{You have acquired the Dungeon special skill "Sacrifice."}

[You can bestow the skill "Sacrifice" upon your Dungeon subordinates.]

[Acquire Dungeon special trait "Overlord."]

[Whenever your subordinates offer sacrifices in your name, you gain half of the power from the sacrifice.]

Filled with excitement, Alex's face lit up with joy at the sight of his newfound progress. However, before he could fully celebrate, the screen transformed once again, presenting an attribute panel similar to before.

[Owner: Alex]

[Dungeon: Old Building]

[Level: 1]

[Subjects: 0]

[Resident: 100]

[Dungeon Points: 0]

A wide grin spread across Alex's face as he absorbed the information.

"Finally, I have acquired the long-awaited Unique trait!" he exclaimed.

"I can hardly contain my anticipation to discover its capabilities. But why do I have a hundred residents?"

As if in response to his question, a panel appeared before him, displaying a list of residents.

[Resident List:

Dream Mutated Spiders: 30

Dream Mutated Red Ants Queen: 20 (Each representing a hive mind)

Dream Mutated Moss Monster: 50]

Upon seeing the peculiar assortment of residents, Alex couldn't decide whether to burst into laughter or shed tears. Nevertheless, he pushed aside his mixed emotions and focused on his thoughts.

With great eagerness, Alex swiftly opened his attribute panel, yearning to uncover the intricate details of his newly acquired skill, Sacrifice.
