Mysterious girl in the dream

"Could you guys arrange a restroom for my contractor. I will answer all of your doubts later on." He said to demi humans in monotonous tone.

"Yes no problem." But suprisingly they all agreed.

S the other spirit folk brought the unconscious Kyle back to

their village with them. Kyle was restrained with a magic artifact for just in case and escorted to

the rarely used guest rooms in the village town hall, while Emmily's group was carried to the very same building.

A werefox elder waited for them in the room to receive their report of the

incident. As the representative of their group, Emmily explained the circumstances

after regaining her conciousnessto the elder first.

"...Hmm. Don't you think you were a little too rough, dear Uzura?" The elder

looked at Uzura coldly after hearing the report.

"B-But it was an emergency situation..."

"Well, that may be true... however, to disobey the orders of your group leader is not something you should have done.

"Yes. In regards to that, I am truly sorry." Uzura said with an ashamed face. He bowed down to both the elder and Emmily and apologised.

"Emmy. Bring the captured boy here immediately after he wakes up." The expression on

the elder's face changed instantly, and she gave her order in a somewhat cold

tone.

Emmy stutteringly agreed to the elder and hurried out of the

room.

"Now I should go and deal with the main work.

After saying that she turned towards a door and entered a spacious room with many chairs gathered around a circular table. Some people were already siting on these chairs when the werefox elder entered the room.

The persons sitting were the elf elder who had fought against Kyle. His name was Frederick. He was now wearing some bandages clearly hurt by Kyle's attack. He seemed to be in a little sour mood. The person sitting to his right side was the werewolf lady elder who had appeared afterwards. Her name was Anglecia. And lastly the person sitting to the right of the Frederick was the mysterious spirit inside Kyle's body which this people called Dragonic.

" You finally came Urula" Frederick said to Urula.

He doesn't seem to be in a good mood. "Yeah it wasn't to cleap up the mess created outside." Urula said in monotone.

"Well now I think we should get on the main topic." Angleica said to both elders. She seemed to be the youngest among the three but it seems she had the most authority out of three.

"So lord Dragonic we again welcome you back to spirit folk village." Angleica said this as she bbowed her head a little in the direction of Dragonic. The other two elders done the same thing. "Thanks, but you all don't need to bow your heads repeatedely. It's making me feel a little awkward." Dragonic said in a strained voice.

"As you wish." All three elders lifted their heads.

"I know you all have many questions so let's discuss all of them one by one." Dragonic said with a smile.

In a different room

Kyle regained consciousness on a shabby bed in an unfamiliar room. With a

fuzzy head, he wondered where he was; his body felt sluggish, as if he had

caught a cold. In an attempt to assess the situation, he moved to sit up in the

bed, when a sharp pain suddenly stabbed through his stomach area.

Accepting his defeat, he gave up and flopped back down.

He moved his hand to his stomach in order to treat himself with magic, when

he realized there were magic restaining shackles golves on his hands.

Kyle ground his teeth. Enchanted Sealing Cuffs were an artifact that could

contain the magic essence of the wearer. Normally, it was enough to

attach just

one, but they could be broken depending on the capability of the wearer.

Because of this, high-class sorcerers would be made to wear multiple cuffs

He would have preferred to move around a bit and warm himself as much as

possible, but now wasn't the time for that. Kyle endured the stabbing pains in his

stomach and focused on recovering naturally.

Then, a short while later...

Eventually, his mind started to nod off into the

darkness. He knew it was bad to sleep, but he couldn't find the strength to keep

his eyes open.

Then, several minutes after Kyle completely lost consciousness, he found

himself in a pure white space. He had no idea where he was, nor what was

happening.

Kyle..." A clear, beautiful voice resounded.

Kyle looked around in surprise. Before he realized it, an unknown girl stood

before him.

Her long green-gold hair fluttered behind her as she stared at Kyle's face with

eyes like rubies. There was no emotion in her expression, but her features were

unbelievably refined.

"You're..." Kyle murmured.

He felt like he had seen her face somewhere, but would he really forget the

face of someone so overwhelmingly beautiful, a face that emitted such a divine

aura?

"Who are you?"

"Me? Who am I... I wonder." The girl tilted her head to the side.

"You don't know?" Kyle asked.

"Yeah..." the girl nodded sadly.

"But you know who I am, right?"

"Kyle? Kyle... Kyle is... just Kyle."

"That's not much of an answer. Okay, then why do you know me?"

Her somewhat philosophical yet redundant answer made Kyle give a strained

smile and change his line of questioning. She reached up to touch Kyle's cheek

gently and, after a beat, squeezed his hand. It felt so natural for her to be doing

so... Kyle simply stood there and held his hand out as she wanted. Her hand felt

so unreal, it was almost artificially drained of life — yet at the same time, it was

strangely warm.

"I am... connected to Kyle."

"Connected to me?" Kyle didn't really understand what she was saying.

"Yup. But now is not the time... Kyle, I only belong to you, and I will always

be by your side. Your weaknesses, your strengths, your everything — I accept

them all. So don't give up. Don't be afraid. And believe in yourself a little."

"W... Why...?
