Ledgic meets Goku

Before Bulla and Trunks set off to search for the fuel deposits, Pan turns on the loudspeakers on the shuttle:

"Hey, Bulla, Trunks—you guys don't want to eat?"

Bulla and Trunks are stunned by the sudden noise, they try to cover their ears but they realise they're wearing helmets.

"Hey Pan!" she messages straight to the control room.

"Yes, Bulla," Pan continues to speak through the loudspeakers.

"Stop that! Turn it off," she yells frowning, "We're right here and its too loud!"

"Oh sorry, girl" she says before switching it off.

"Now, we're off to search for the fuels. We need it."

"Actually," Trunks cuts in, "I think we should eat first."

"But..."

"It's not like it's going anywhere, right?"

"Fine."

I need to teach Pan how to use the messaging protocol, else she'd keep using the loudspeaker.

"Alright, I'm letting you guys in..."

"Hey, wait. You don't need t--" Bulla tries to stop Pan from accidentally opening the storage room, but the fuel compartment opens instead.

"Uh, Pan," Goku says, "I think you opened the wrong door."

"Not now grandpa, I'm trying to open the --"

Boom!

The shuttle shakes violently as an explosion suddenly occurs behind it.

Bulla falls to her knees, slumped over and almost crying, "Why Pan?"

"Trunks, change of plans..." she tells him.

"Oh, Pan..." he shakes his head.

Goku flies out with just a helmet to inspect the damage and the fuel compartment is wrecked and charred, but it also extends to two other thrusters and a portion of the shuttle, too.

"Sheesh, Pan, you really wrecked the ship," Goku confirms.

"I'm sorry."

Bulla and Trunks have to stay to help fix the affected areas. Fortunately, they brought along robots who could help out too.

"Pan, from now on you're banned from touching anything in my control room!"

"Sorry."

Goku who had been watching them fix up the shuttle saw fireworks from a nearby settlement: Hmm, what's going on over there?

He flies off to see what was happening in the town.

Above the little town where a few hundred aliens were bowing, Goku could see one of Glace's friends torching a building with a pistol.

"Lord Ledgic, please show mercy," a female alien pleaded but the guards accompanying him cuffed her and dragged her away from the site.

Meanwhile Pan flies off to the busier district, and lands at the commercial centre where vendors and different types of aliens are either trading or bargaining.

"Man, this place sure is busy," she says as she hovers down among them.

She walks around, observing them until she arrives at a vendor who isn't selling.

"Hey there," she greets, "you're a native, right?"

The aged alien looks up at her, beams a smile and starts showing his farming products.

"Uhh, I'm not here to buy, actually," she says.

He frowns and turns her away.

Man, these people are not very hospitable huh.

"Ok, and you old lady, you seen one of these?" an alien shows a picture of a Dragon Ball to one of the vendors.

Pan notices and walks up to them.

That was a dragon ball wasn't it? So, he must be one of those bounty hunters.

"I'm sorry, sir," the lady replies, "I haven't seen anything like that."

He frowns and bangs the table, "You sure? if you're lying to me..."

She puts up her hands to show she's being truthful, he grunts and walks away.

"Hey, old lady," Pan walks up to her, "you're a native, right?"

The vendor tries to sell her things too, but Pan tells her she isn't here to buy anything. The lady ignores her and insists on trying to sell Pan different ornaments.

Pan backs away. Sheesh, the ones who look like natives don't want to talk, only sell.

I better head back.

As Pan flies back to the shuttle, Goku lands behind Ledgic, his eyebrows show his confusion.

But one of the Imeckans behind him, call out to him, he's unable to hear however.

As Ledgic turns around, he sees Goku in his space suit and gear, a stranger.

"Who are you?"

"I'm Goku, and you?"

"Don't you know? I'm from the royal family around here, little man."

"Oh so that's why these people are bowing."

"They should, for that's all they're worth: weak, pathetic scum who should be trampled under the feet of the mighty."

"Huh?"

"Do I need to repeat myself? You vex me, guards arrest this insolent fool who dares speaks to me as if my equal."

The guards surround him and adjust their weapons in front of him, "Do not resist, you've broken the law and will be detained."

"What law? I just got here?" Goku folds his arms and slants his head to the side.

"Restrain him!" The head guard to Ledgic instructs.

However, Goku leaps up and hovers above them and the guards are shocked.

Ledgic is surprised too, "Oh I see, you must be a bounty hunter then," he says to him.

"No... not really?"

"There's no need to lie, only the strong can fly, soaring above the rest and dare to venture out seeking the exalted Dragon Balls."

"You know about the Dragon Balls?"

"Why of course, I'm also seeking them. There're rumors one of them is here on Imecka."

"Wha... Really?"

The girl who had been tracking the Team chose to follow Goku as he was the first to depart from the shuttle.

She watched Goku and Ledgic's interaction from a safe distance via her binoculars and when the two started discussing the dragon balls, she contacted her boss.

"Yes, what is it now?"

"Boss, it's one of those 4 aliens, he's speaking to Ledgic in the town."

"Yes?"

"It appears even he is quite strong, because he's flying just like Glace and his allies can."

"Hmm, this is trouble."

"Boss, it seems they don't know each other, however. Ledgic commanded the guards to arrest him."

"Wait, they're not allies?"

"It doesn't seem so boss, but he appears interested in the Dragon balls that the royal family announced earlier."

"Hmm, these aliens, you said one of them was strong to cause a hurricane and now this little one can fly. They sound quite formidable indeed."

"Uh huh, what's the next step, boss?"

"I think we should request their help in defeating Glace."

"Hm," the girl nods.
