Byo dusted his clothes off. "Damn, this was such a stupid idea. This guy is no joke..." How much he tried to think about it and how much he disliked to hear it but Byo was really a complete weakling right now.

His dumb idea of just going in and try it nonetheless was quickly punished.

Goku was also still struggling to get his bearings back after he received that knee. But Byo already saw how he slowly was back up. He even summoned his trusty cloud to him.

"Hey, where do you think you are going, Goku!?", asked Krillin.

"Of course I am going after him and save my son.", answered Goku.

"Are you sure about that? He is quite powerful. Maybe you should rethink some things.", interrupted Byo him now.

"What!?" Goku was actually furious hearing that. "Are you trying to tell me we should just do as he asked?"

"Damn, so you are actually not a good guy.", scolded Bulma him now.

"Hey, first: I never said I am a goody-two-shoes. Second, can you guys please use your brains? We got a timelimit set by that idiot. It is a whole week. How about you collect those wishing beads of yours?"

"The dragon balls? Right, we nearly forgot about them. But how do you know about them?"

"I just remembered them. Remember, the Red Ribbon Army and all that? Looks like I am slowly gaining back my memories. But don't worry, I also remember that I quit being a member." Byo lied his ass off but some of it was actually the truth. he did have that slight feeling his last sentence was the truth.

"I dislike your remark but you are right. With them, we can wish us back to life if something does happen."

"No, Krillin. I found out that Shenlong doesn't fulfill the same wishes. If you or master roshi end up dying it's over. Death will mean death." Goku shook his head and let out crucial information.

"Then how about wishing for the dragon to save the earth?", asked Bulma.

"That is also impossible." A voice from a little bit further away resounded. Everyone looked in the direction where it came from and they could see a green alien.

"Piccolo!?" The group knew who that was.

"The dragon also cant do something that is not in the power of its creator. Destroying threats as powerful as that guy is not going to work. I was also already not in his ability to destroy.", answered Piccolo begrudgingly.

"So that is also a no go. Damn it." Krillin cursed at that.

"Then what are you doing here?", asked Goku now.

"I want him dead.", deadpanned Piccolo.

"You two know each other already?" Goku realized that fact.

"We have met. It seems he can detect powerful energy with that gadget of his. Since you three don't stand a chance against him I am here to make an alliance with you, Goku. Together we could try to beat him.", said Piccolo.

Everyone was surprised that this demon king was actually offering his cooperation in defeating this new enemy.

Goku looked rather serious. "What is in it for you doing so?"

"Of course after he and his two pals that he mentioned are dealt with I am going straight back to world domination. It's just that those asses are in my way of things."

"Hmm, alright, but you better prepare for me beating you up when you try that."

"Are you two idiots? I can feel the threat from you and it is, even if combined, less than what that guy emitted. Not even half...Good luck in trying to go there and being beaten up to a pulp..." Byo sighed and destroyed their little enthusiastic talk.

Piccolo notice him now and saw that Byo was also a Saiyan.

"Hmpf, you sure got a mouth. Then what are you proposing?", asked Piccolo.

"How about training? I heard you guys got magical stuff. And why are you limiting the wishing beads towards reviving or destroying? Why not create something that can help. Supportive suggestions are still up in the air.", shrugged Byo while telling them that.

"That still doesn't answer my question in any way, Saiyan...", frowned Piccolo.

"He is right Byo. There is little use of Shenlong."

"So I gotta speak it out loud? Then how about we use the time given to us? Even if Raditz kills a few humans here and there while he waits, you still can just revive them with the next years' wish."

"Just training for a few days won't cut it." Piccolo got angry now. Even if they use the time there is no use in that. Such power gaps cant be overcome that fast.

"Wait, Piccolo..." Goku seemed to be the one that was frowning and thinking. "I think I actually got an idea. Kami actually got a room of time that could let us train for a whole year and that only for just one day outside."

"See, looks like you actually got something that useful. I was going to suggest some sort of intensive training equipment or something." That was of course a lie and Byo was happy inside that Goku came to the Space-Time Chamber on his own.

Goku even siled now. "This could really work. With some hard training for a year, we could manage to improve a lot. Are you in Piccolo?"

"Hmm, fine.", grumbled Piccolo and accepted this idea.

"Hey, you also join them.", said Launch now and Byo looked at her because she meant him with joining.

"What? Are you joking? I am even weaker than those two. So what do you think I could do?"

Launch frowned. "Then get stronger! I am not going to date some wimp! Do you get that!? So get a move on!"

Byo was flabergasted by that angry rant towards him. Krillin at the side laughed wrily because he could feel how hurtful those words were. He himself was also not wanting to fight that and hearing her words felt weird. Maybe he should also train in that room? Maybe with Yamcha together. After all, Krillin actually wanted to train at Kami's at some point anyway.

"You are actually serious..." Byo scratched his head furiously with his right hand and gritted his teeth.

"Alright, but on my terms. You guys are going to teach me the basics of some stuff. I am basically starting from zero here. And I want that bag with those beans that the baldie is carrying.", sighed Byo.

"Heeey...", complained Krillin. "My name is Krillin, you know?"

Goku smiled "Sure, we can do that. Even if you gain a little from us it should be better than nothing."

"Tsk, so we have to babysit this guy now? Fine, then let's move to that old geezer's place." Piccolo started ascending and flying away. Goku also jumped on Kinton.

"Hey! Wait! I cant fly!", shouted Byo.

That halted them both and the next scene was the trio being in the air and Piccolo carrying Byo with his hands hanging down where Byo was holding himself firmly to not fall off.
