Chapter 4

Starrk was lying lazily on the beach wearing a swimming trunks and a sunglasses, relaxing under the rays of the sun. A rare thing considering his life as a devil with Serafall has always been full of…'joy'.

Today, he and some of Serafall's peerage along with Serafall herself decided to go on a vacation in a private beach resort owned by the Sitri family located in one of the many islands of Indonesia.

Fun fact; Sitri owned said island and has been used by them as a vacation spot for centuries since they acquired it after it was given to them as a gift by a certain god from Indonesia for helping him.

It is a place that Starrk regularly visits to have fun and relax.

Now, if only there wasn't a little devil sitting on his chest and trying to bury him in sand, then today couldn't be anymore perfect.

Unfortunately...

Opening one of his eyes, he saw a short black haired little girl around the age of five with purple eyes, wearing a cute blue frilled swimsuit, and holding a small bucket full of white sand.

He sighed. Is it his fate to always watch after kids? There's Lilynette who showed no signs of growing and still look like a kid, and now this.

"Starrk-niisama," the little girl turned her eyes towards him, "are you mad? You look annoyed, am I being naughty? Should I stop?"

Starrk sighed. Why does he have such a soft spot for kids? Even if it was Serafall who said that, he wouldn't hesitate to say yes and ask her to get off of him.

"No, I'm just thinking about the meaning of life. You can continue Sona." He said with his usual monotone and bored voice.

Sona, full name Sona Sitri, younger sister of Serafall Leviathan and heiress of The House of Sitri, one of the 72 Pillar Houses of Underworld.

She's currently five years old, but is already smart enough to make philosophers doubt their existence.

"But life has no meaning," Sona tilted her head and stared at his eyes, "No matter how much you think about it, no matter how much those philosophers and biblical believers says otherwise, life has no meaning."

'Oh damn. There she goes again with her philosophical talks.' Thought Starrk as he already sighed and just lied back and tried to listen.

He couldn't.

"But it's fine." Sona smiled, "Just because we are born without meaning doesn't mean we should just wait and die. I like to think that because we are born with nothing, we can become anything."

'Thank Aizen its shorter this time. I still shiver at her speech about about good and evil half a year ago. That speech lasted for two days and two nights and I couldn't fall asleep for months after that.'

"And when I grow up, I want to be a magical girl like onee-sama!" Sona stood up on Starrk's chest as she pumped her little fist.

"…you're going to regret those words when you grow up." Starrk said as he yawned, making a mental note to always remind Sona of this moment once she grow up.

"Nah-uh! I want to be on the same show as my sister in the future!" Sona grinned, puffing her chest in confidence, "Kya~!?" before she was swooshed off her feet and found her face buried between two soft flesh.

"Soooo-taaaaannn~! I knew there is a reason why you're the best sister in the universe!"

Starrk took a deep breath, and sighed deeply. Another annoyance popped up. And this time, in the form of his King and Master, Serafall Leviathan.

Wearing only a cute pink two piece bikini, showing off her "mature features" despite having a childlike height and personality.

"Sera-sama, I think little Sona is about to suffocate." A cool female voice sounded behind Serafall.

"Oops!" Serafall smiled wryly as she pushed her sister away from her chest, with Sona taking in oxygen like she hasn't been before, "Don't worry So-tan, I'm sure you're gonna grow as big as me in the future! It's in the genes!"

Sona stared at the chest of her big sister, then at her airport runaways and couldn't help but cheer herself. She's still young, she's gonna grow as big as her big sister someday!

"Come on! Leave this lazy butt to sleep and let's go surfing!" Serafall hugged Sona before running towards the sea.

"Oohh~!" Little Sona cheered in excitement as she stared at the sea with sparkling eyes.

Starrk turned towards the other female that was left behind, "Aren't you going to follow them? You like the sea don't you?"

The female hummed as she sat beside him, "I do. But I think I had enough sea for the day. Sitting here is fine as well."

Starrk remained silent as he thought of the past. "So, have you got any clues about them?"

The female paused for a moment. Before she stared at the sky sadly, "I haven't. I guess I'm not as lucky as you, I was the only one that ended up here."

"Well, at least you have Lilynette and I. So you're not the only Arrancar around." He turned to face the woman, "Don't you think so, Tres Espada."

Tier Harribel. Espada Number Three, or as she referred herself, Tres Espada. A beautiful dark skinned woman with blonde hair and blue eyes, wearing a sexy yellow two piece bikini that greatly emphasizes her sizes.

Fortunately, they owned the place and there were no other people around, else she would certainly attract a battalion wanting to flirt with her.

As for how she got into this world, she herself doesn't know. But after being "betrayed" by Aizen, whom she hates with every fiber of her being, she passed out from losing too much blood and Spirit Power.

When she woke up, she found herself staring at the curious eyes of Serafall who eventually became her new King and master. She was surprised to find Starrk as well, but didn't say too much at that time as she thought of a possibility that, since Starrk is here, then her Fraccion should've been in this new world right?

That was twenty years ago, and until now, she still haven't found some clues about her girls.

"Don't worry, you have already spread your name in every corner of the supernatural world, there is no doubt that they would come looking for you."

Starrk usually wasn't the type to console someone. But he still feels a bit of camaraderie towards her. Not to mention there is only two of them left in this world.

"I guess." Harribel muttered as she thought of that particular event a year ago, where she decided that if she can't find the girls, then let them find her.

She went to Olympus, and challenged the God of the Sea Poseidon. The battle caused a catastrophe in the human world where dozens of islands sunk and a terrible storm engulfed the whole world.

The battle lasted for three days and three nights, before she eventually gave up, knowing full well that still couldn't defeat someone at the level of a Chief God.

Poseidon did not accept her surrender and plan to kill her for provoking him, forcing Starrk to come and save her and Serafall to handle the aftermath and have a meeting with the Olympians.

Despite how she acts, Serafall is still the Devil King that is in charged of foreign affairs.

After that, despite her loss, Harribel was fully recognized as a devil possessing the power equivalent to a Devil King and her name spread throughout the supernatural world.

"By the way," Harribel took out a bottle of sunscreen and offered it to Starrk, "Can you put some on me?"

Starrk groaned, "No way. Your Hierro is strong enough to even shrug off a bullet, you don't need sunscreen."

Harribel just gave a tired sigh, "Sera-sama is right, you are dumb."

"What?" Starrk shot her an annoyed glare.

Harribel ignored him and just stood up, "Well, I'm gonna go and get some ice cream. You want some?"

"No. Imma sleep here. Tell the others not to disturb me." Starrk replied before he gave a yawn and directly fell asleep.

"Mn." Harribel stared at him for a moment before leaving.
