He thought he would at least have a few drinks to clear his head off. He met Jessie in Vegas and recognized she was the woman his grandfather forced him to get married to. Jessie entered the bathroom to take her bath the following morning as she was getting ready for the day. She didn't know her way around San Diego, so she had made the decision the previous evening after dinner to spend the rest of the afternoon reading a book before dropping off her clothing measurements at the registrar, as her aunt Billy had instructed her. After that, she would prepare for tonight's party.
