Jungle

Authors Note: So sorry but if your back to read this chapter than please go back to read the first two chapters as I've added a few sentences that would make more sense in the next chapters going forward. Next day, Athena woke up to the sound of a gunshot. "Line up and get ready to move out" said the guard. Lining up the girls one by one followed the guard to the entrance, where they were then blindfolded and shoved into vehicles.

Sitting with her knees close to her chest Athena tried to calm herself down and drown out the sounds of muffled cries around her. They've been on the road for most of the day and hunger have started to kick in. With so many things happening Athena realised that she haven't eaten in the past few days. Closing her eyes she let herself fall asleep to try to tame the hunger pains.

They finally arrived at their destination before nightfall. Huddled together, the girls were finally able to remove the blindfolds, finding themselves at the outskirts of the jungle. Scared of the situation some girls finally let go and poured out their miseries in their sorrowful cries.

Annoyed by the crying the guard pulled out his gun and shot towards the sky. Satisfied with their attention he started to explain the situation.

"Now we will start your training. You will be given two weeks to survive in this jungle. If you survive you will need to make your way back here on the last day of training. If anyone is late they will be severely punished. I will also remind you to not try and escape as we will be tracking and monitoring you. Anyone who dares to escape will live a life worse than death. Now go grab a knife and make your way into the jungle to start."

'So the small wound I found on the back of my neck is probably some sort of tracker.. I wonder what kind of technology is used? Sigh, I thought this would be a good chance to leave and escape but let's take it one step at a time'. Without knowing the consequences and damage sustained from removing the tracker Athena pushed the thought out of her mind and made her way through the depths of the jungle.

"Hey, should we all group together?" One of the girls asked. "I think we should. I mean it would give us a better chance to survive out here.." another girl replied.

'Forget about it, it's not like half of them will survive out here so better not make any friends.' Athena thought before deciding to go about things alone. Seeing the girls grouped together and not intending to move forward, Athena move on alone. Shortly after she heard gunshots and screams, 'probably forcing them to go further in.'

Grumble.. 'ahh, should first try to find something to eat.'
