-The Mountain Has It's Difficulties-

-Author's note-

Hello everyone! It's a new day for me, and here is a new chapter for you! I hope you'll like todays chapter. I also left a little cliffhanger at the end haha >:D.

Also a little about Mr. Markus. I was a bit embarassed for some reason haha, because I kept calling him "The Shopkeeper" so, I decided to reveal his name. Even tho I called the chapter "True Identity", I only told his name and I'm sorry about that bros :C. But everything will be more clear in the future, and you will see why he kept all those things to himself. :)

But anyways, enjoy the chapter! :)

Mr. Markus and Elijah were climbing the mountain. It's been about two hours since they left the camp. Elijah was walking behind Mr. Markus. The forest was silent, because the only sound that could be heard was the wind making the leaves move in the trees. It was still an early morning, because Mr. Markus wanted to leave early.

-Elijah- Marku-

-Mr. Markus- Mr. Markus! Try to remember the "Mr", please.

-Elijah- Tch...

-Mr. Markus- What is it?

-Elijah- Do you... feel that? I feel like something or someone is watching us.

-Mr. Markus- Hmm... I don't. You must be imagining it, since you woke up pretty early.

-Elijah- No, I can definitely feel something in the distance. Something is watching us, no, something is watching me. Are you sure you can't feel anything?

-Mr. Markus- No. Stop thinking about such useless things. You're slowing us down a lot. If we keep going like this, we'll arrive in our destination next week, so fasten your pace, please.

-Elijah- Tch. Alright old ma-... nevermind.

Mr. Markus laughed a little at Elijah's little mistake.

-Elijah- Stop it!

-Mr. Markus- I'll stop if you start walking faster.

-Elijah- Ugh.

Time Skip

Elijah was starting to get really wary of small little movements in the forest. The feeling, that someone was watching him, started to get bigger and bigger, as if something was getting closer.

It was then, they heard a big sound in the distance.

-Mr. Markus- !!!

-Elijah- I knew it, someone is following us.

Mr. Markus was a little puzzled why Elijah was able to feel their presence.

-Mr. Markus- Elijah, are you alright?

-Elijah- Why the hell are you asking if I'm fine???

-Mr. Markus- Answer my question!

-Elijah- Tch. Yes, I'm okay. Why are you asking me a stupid question like that?

-Mr. Markus- Because you seem a little different than yesterday... Are you sure you are okay?

-Elijah- Old m- Mr. Markus, I said I'm fine, alright? Do you think that little of me? I'm not the same person as I was two years ago. I've been training with you everyday for two years, remember?

-Mr. Markus- Hahaha. Yes, you've changed quite a bit. I'm very impressed, but right now, I'm more concerned about that sound we heard a moment ago.

-Elijah- Yeah, me too.

The started walking closer to the place where the sound came from.

-Elijah- Wha- what the HELL is THAT?!

To be continued.
