Stop Being Childish!

Veronica was already peeved that no one had come to look for her even after she had hidden for so long. Eventually, she got hungry and could only stamp her feet in frustration as she walked back to the room.

On the way there she was already irritated so she didn't pay attention to where she was going and ended up bumping into someone and getting knocked over.

A normal person would apologize after bumping into someone but not Veronica.

Her mentality was she was always right so if anything it was that person's fault for being in her way. Veronica was just about to unleash her temper on the person when she paused for a moment after recognizing her sister.

Of course, it was just for a moment.

Veronica was already dissatisfied with this sister of hers who was acting surprisingly out of character. She wasn't meek and timid anymore and wouldn't listen to anything she said. Also, her sister was also upstaging her which was even worse!

Veronica had become so used to being the talented one between the two sisters she wasn't ready to let Nicole upstage her.

She had been showered with so much praise and affection that she thought she was entitled to it and that the fact that Nicole received more attention than her made feelings of hostility sprout towards her.

She should be the better of the two sisters

Even when Nicole is worse than her they still treat her like she is a treasure and even though she is so much better than Nicole they don't treat her any better than Nicole.

She can't be worse than Nicole! She just couldn't!

Her sister was so useless and they already loved her so much what if she became better than her? One must know in their family it wasn't about who was eldest but who was more capable would inherit the family.

Veronica had grown up thinking she would definitely be the next heir. Their brother was a talent but he didn't like the family business much. Nicole, on the other hand, was no match for her in terms of ability or competence.

Growing up like this she felt the company belonged to her thus Nicole's actions right now were threatening to take what rightfully belonged to her.

Thinking up to this point Veronica didn't even bother to hide her hostility as she got up and patted herself down before staring straight at Nicole.

"Sis I don't know why you are throwing this tantrum, even if I made you angry that's no reason to push me," Veronica said with a wronged tone her eyes carrying blame.

Nicole didn't respond but just continued to stare at her.

Seeing this made Veronica even angrier as she said in a suppressed yell, "Nicole Reyna! Stop being so childish and unreasonable, if mummy and daddy find out that your behaving this way then they will be truly disappointed in you!"

Nicole snorted lightly an elegant smirk resting on her lips.

'She was being childish?' Nicole thought, 'the same person who stormed out of the room because they weren't the center of attention was calling her childish? This is truly the funniest joke I have ever heard! Even using her parents to try and blackmail her? So if she doesn't follow Veronica like a lost puppy she is childish and unreasonable? He He.'

At first, Nicole was feeling too lazy to even reply. She knew her sister's true face so why should she pretend?

Just as she was about to ignore Veronica and go back, a light bulb went off in Nicole's head. Nicole's steps paused and a sweet and shy smile was exposed as she faced her sister.

"Veronica, you, you how can you say that? I wouldn't be angry at you if not because... "
