Chapter 5, She's Living With The Jerk

//Jill's PoV//

It is currently Friday and class is suspended. I decided to ask Xy and Kate to hang out with me and go to the mall. We just finished eating at the food court and we are now shopping for clothes especially for Xyren because Kate wants improve Xy's fashion. We've been telling her how basic her fashion is for 5 minutes now and yet, she has the guts to cover her ears. Seriously, why won't this girl listen to us!?

"Told you she's going to wear sweatpants and a hoodie today." Kaye clicked her tongue and continued to look for clothes for Xy.

"You expect me to wear a dress with a short skirt like you? In your dreams, Kate!" Xy argued. They kept arguing so I stomped my right foot to get their attention.

"Finally. Now that I have your attention, listen to what I'm going to say next. PLEASE SHUT UP! BOTH OF YOU! I've had enough of your bullsh*t. Xy, stop complaining! Kate, if you're gonna find clothes for her, use your damn eyes! Not your f*cking mouth. Let's get this over with. I wanna go to the café." I told them. I was fuming from their argument so it was a good idea to snap infront of them. See? Not a single one of them talked for the past few seconds until Kate decided to break the silence.

"Okay. Let's get this over with." She said as she heaved a sigh.

//Kate's PoV//

That moment where Jill snapped earlier scared the living daylights out of me. I never expect her to be that mad. I'm lost for words. The silence after that was awfully awkward.

"Okay. Let's get this over with." I said as I heaved a sigh. I continued looking for outfits without saying a word. I'm scared that Jill will get mad at me if I say anything else or dare speak.

//Xy's PoV//

'Okay... What the f*ck was that?...." I thought to myself and proceeded to keep my mouth shut.

//Jill's PoV//

I must admit. Their faces where priceless. They both see shocked after that. Their reaction was funny so I can't hold it anymore. I laughed at them and they started laughing too.

An hour had past and we were able to buy a couple of outfits for Xy and a few for ourselves too.

"They're actually not bad. In fact, I love it." Xy said. We can tell that she's very contented.

"It's like Korean fashion. I'm glad you liked it. I'm surprise that you also like the outfit with the skirt."

"I-I mean... It's cute so... hehe..." Xy responded as she scratched the back of her head.

"It's so aesthetic!" Kate and I said at the same time.

"You like grunge aesthetic?" Kate asked. Xy nodded as a response.

"Say, wanna go to Urb*n Outfi**ers to buy grunge outfits?" I asked.

"I thought you'd never ask!" Both of them said in chorus. We went to Urb*n Outfi**ers and started spending our money.

After we bought clothes, we went to a café.

"Hey Kate! Why didn't you bought that much outfits at Urb*n Outfi**ers?" I asked.

"I'm not that into grunge aesthetic but since I wanna look like a bad*ss, I decided to buy 2 outfits just for now." We continued to chat until my mom called me.

"Excuse me. I have to take this call. Sorry." I said as to both of my friends.

"Okay!" They both responded and I went out of the café. I answered the call and spoke to her.

"Hey mom! Why did you call? Is there a problem?" I asked

"Come home immediately. I have good and exciting news to tell you!" My mom exclaimed. I can tell she was so excited.

"Sure. I'll be there in 5 minutes." I said.

"Okay! Love you, my baby! Bye!~" she said over the phone.

"Bye! Love you too mom!" I hanged up. I went back inside the café.

"Hey guys! I'm sorry if I have to leave so sudden but I have to go. My mom called me. See you on Monday, you two." I told my friends and grabbed my stuff.

"See you on Monday!" They said as I bid goodbye. I went to the parking lot and went to my car. I then drove my way back home.

As I arrived there, my mom hugged me. She helped me put my things away and we sat down on the couch.

"So, what do you want to tell me, mom?" I asked.

"I got the job, dear!" She said happily. I hugged her and started crying. I'm not sad. These are tears of joy, okay?"

"But, aren't you gonna work there 24 hours straight or something?" I asked. She wiped my tears.

"Yes I am but don't worry. I told them that I have a daughter who can BARELY LIVE BY HERSELF and they suggested us that we should live in their house or I guess I should say mansion of the CEO together."

"But what about our house?"

"We can visit it every weekend. So sick your things. We're going to move out for now." She smiled. I started packing the things that I need such as my clothes, my essentials, etc.

After packing up, on of the company's car came to pick us up and drove us to the mansion. When we arrived there, I was amazed. This Shinzue company is actually pretty rich. I wonder what the inside of the mansion looks like. We got out of the car and there where maids and butlers waiting for us.

"Welcome ma'am Harper and young miss Harper!" They all greeted. We greeted them back and gave them a smile.

"Hi!" A man said, dressed in a butler uniform.

"I'll be your butler for the entire time, Miss Secretary. I'm Sean. Nice to meet you, ladies." He continued. I forgot to mention. My mom is now the new secretary of the CEO of Shinzue.

"Nice meeting you too, sir." I said.

"Oh please. Drop the formality, miss."

"I'd rather not to."

"Well okay then. I'll show you your room. Please follow me. Miss Sarah and then others, please bring their personal belongings to their own room." He ordered. We started walking to our designated room. As we got inside the mansion, I was awestrucked. The mansion was massive! You can also see maids cleaning, making sure everything is spotless. I feel like I'm going to be lost inside of this mansion because this is so big! We finally arrived at our room and let me just tell you. Our room was so big! There are two beds, a television, a bathroom, a study table and a vanity. Not to mention, our closet. Our things are well arranged.

"This is your room ma'am. Kindly change so that I can begin the tour. I'll be waiting for you outside." The butler said. We changed our clothes and the tour began.

A few hours later, the tour is almost over and we're now heading to our room. Ugh. My legs are so tired from all the walking.

"And lastly, this is Sir Xander's room. Son of Mr and Mrs Carter. I think you and Xander would get along pretty well. After all, you're both in the same age, Miss Jillienne." Xander? Who the f*ck is that? He's familliar...

"Wait. I'll call sir Xander. Sir Xander!" He called and knocked on the door. Xander... Wait. He can't be talking about- Just then, the door opened. Just as I expected, it's him. I just stared at the boy infront of me.

"Sir Xander. I would like you to meet-" He cutted him off.

"Jillienne Harper!? What in the actual hell are you doing here!?"

"You know eachother!?" My mom and the butler asked.

"I should be the one asking you that! What are YOU doing here!?"

"Oh. I'm Xander Carter. The son of the CEO of Shinzue company. A pleasure to meet you, Jillienne Harper." He said with a smug look plastered on his face. That smirk. Tch. I stared in shock. How come I never knew about this before? That he was the son of Shinzue's CEO?

"Don't tell me that I'll be living under the same bigg *ss roof or ceiling for the rest of my life or something."

"Fortunately, you will. I'll see you in dinner later, Miss Jillienne." FORTUNATELY!? It's literally unfortunate living with this dude! His room is literally beside ours! I watched him enter his room with a smirk. I can't believe I'm gonna live with a f*cking jerk. I'm damned.
