Chapter 4, Avoiding Him At All Cost

//Xy's PoV//

It is now lunch time. I went to the cafeteria with Heiden and Jill. We sat at a nearby table and Heiden ordered our foods.

"Mind if I sit with you guys?" A familliar voice said. I looked up only to see Kate.

"Sup Blondie." Jill greeted.

"I have a name you know!?" She rolled her eyes and sat down.

"Did I told you that you can sit with us?" I said, raising an eyebrow.

"B-but I thought we're okay now. R-right?" Kate asked while stuttering. I giggled.

"I'm just kidding. You can sit with us whenever you want. I already forgave you. That was a few months ago." I said assuring Kate that it's okay to sit with us.

She sat down and Heiden brought our lunch to the table.

"Why aren't you hanging out with your friends?" Heiden asked.

Kate explained that her girls won't be eating lunch with her for now like they used to because they were rehearsing for the next musical that they will be performing in school. After all, they're theather kids. We chattered while eating lunch. I love this feeling. Eating lunch and having a normal conversation with your friends. I would like to spend time with them as much as possible before they suddenly leave me or something.

"Hey Xy! Why don't you get a makeover?" Kate asked out of the blue.

"Uhm. Pardon?"

"Before you attack me, I'm not saying you're ugly. It's just... You're fashion sense is kinda basic."

"But I only wear a uniform in school so how is it basic?" I asked.

"Girl, everytime I see you alone in a Café studying, you always wear sweatpants and a hoodie. Can't you improve your style a bit more?"

"Huh? Then if you saw me in a café, why didn't you join me?"

"That's the part you focus upon?" Jill asked and facepalmed.

"But I agree with Kate. Your fashion sense Is kinda basic." Jill added and took a sip of her drink.

"What? You expect me to dress like a slut?" But to be honest, my friends can be really annoying sometimes.

"Of course not! You should just dress better. After all, your family own a popular modelling agency. Be stylish, Zy!" Kate exclaimed.

"What style are you into anyways?" Heiden asked.

"I'm more into boyish styles. I don't like wearing skirts that much. I don't like wearing skirts and dresses that much. I only where those at formal parties or special occasions."

"Hm... Okay. I'll send you some outfit ideas that suit your taste." Kate said and she smiled. Just then, someone went to our table.

"Hey. Can I talk to your friend here?"

No way... NO F*CKING WAY.... I looked at him to see if I was right. This is unfortunate.

"Woah. Dylan Jaden actually wants to talk with Xy. This is so epic!" Kate squealed.

"What do you need from our friend you two?" Jill asked.

"We just wanna have a conversation with her. Is that too much to ask?" Xander asked while crossing his arms.

"Oh really?" Heiden taunted. Heiden is really not buying it too.

"So miss, would you consider to give us a minute of your time?" Xander smiled playfully and grabbed my hand. I took my hand away from him.

"Sorry but, I-I need to g-go to the bathroom..." 'This lie should do the trick' I thought to myself. I rushed to the bathroom as fast as I could and locked myself in a cubicle. My face was red because of embarrassment. I'll just wait for the bell to ring. They couldn't be possibly waiting for me to come out just so they could talk to me.

A couple of minutes later, the bell rang and I went out of the restroom. To my surprise, they actually waited for me! Are they that desperate!?

"Hey Miss! Can we t-" I cutted off Xander by saying:

"I need to go to class. I'm late bye!" I quickly ran to class. I was about to sit down when the teacher called me.

"Miss Xyren! Why are you late?"

"Sorry ma'am. Things happened in the bathroom..."

"What happened?"

Crap. I need an excuse. I went to the teacher and whispered.

"I'm in my... uh... red days ma'am."

"Okay. I understand but next time, don't b late, okay?"

I nodded my head as a response. Wow. I can't believe that worked. Telling an embarrassing lie to get out of trouble. I quickly sat down and took notes.

It was PE time. I quickly changed at the girls' locker room. After that, I went and looked for Heiden and to my surprise, He's at the other side of the gym, waving at me. I quickly ran to him.

"Jeez. You literally made me look like an idiot, waving." He said and facepalmed.

"Sorry!" I said as I held a peace sign. Suddenly, two students came to us.

"Why hello miss! Didn't expect to see you here." Xander smiled but I know that behind that smile is malice. Beside him was Dylan, just standing there. His emotionless eyes are just staring right into my soul.

"What the hell is wrong with you two!? What the hell are you planning to do to her!?"

"Heiden, I-"

"We're not gonna do anything bad nor naughty to her. Chill dude." Xander exclaimed. He heaved a sigh and put on that signature playboy smile.

"That's literally what a molester would say!" I've never seen Heiden this protective before. He use to be calm and collected. He doesn't really care if me and Jill get in trouble.

"Why are you so protective, bro? Are you her boyfriend or something? Or do you actually like her?" Xander smirked.

"Of course not! We're just friends! Is it wrong to be protective to you friends!? Especially around you two. I can sense trouble when you guys are around."

"Defensive ey?" Xander chuckled.

School was finally over and let me just tell you. Those two were bothering me nonstop. More like Xander is the only one bothering me for Dylan actually never talked except in the cafeteria earlier. I always came with an excuse everytime they wanted to talk to me. I picked up my brother from his school and we went home. As we arrived at the nasty b*tch's house aka my aunt's house, I went straight to my room but before I could even enter, Zen spoke to me.

"Sis, you look really exhausted and tired. Busy day in school?"

"Yeah. Kinda..."

I entered my room and shut the door.

Hey guys. Sorry for not publishing for quite a while now. I was always procrastinating and never got to publish my draft. You see, I have my chapter written in a notebook and I just type it in but my lazy a** was always procrastinating and sh*t. I know that I can just stay late at night and finish the chapter but as you can see... I have a time limit at using my phone so.... yeH... anyways I'mma head out now.
