Chapter 348

[Task 1: Improve the Lanford Family Farming Situation

Medium Spiritual Farms: 1/10

Small Spiritual Farms: 2,145/5,000

Rare Herbs:3/10

Reward: 100x Honest Farmer Physiques, Family Farm World.]

When Samuel saw the reward his eyes completely lit up.

Not to mention the 100 Honest Farmer Physiques which would be enough to increase the harvest of a farm by a shocking amount, the Family Farm World is what interested him the most.

[Family Farm World: A world connected to the Family HeadQuarters, only accessible by the Lanford Family. It is a world oriented completely to growing herbs, and its land mass is the same size as the amount of farming land occupied by the Lanford Family in the Eternal Battlefield.

The quality and concentration of Spiritual Energy in the air is determined by the luck of the Lanford Family.]

Samuel looked at it and couldn't stop smiling. It was really an incredible prize.

If he managed to earn it, not only would it solve the issue with the lack of Spiritual Energy around the herbs, it would provide a safe space for the rare herbs to actually grow.

The only downside however, was that the requirements were really very high.

''Leave for now, no one is to practise in the Farms to maintain the level of Spiritual Energy there.''

Different areas of the Eternal Battlefield have different levels of Spiritual Energy, and the places Samuel built the farms were only average.

Of course this is to prevent greedy eyes from wanting the locations.

''It seems like we need to speed up the development of Spiritual Farms as well.''

Samuel sighed.

The manpower for Spiritual Farms are quite high. The Small farms alone would require another 3 million Dogs of War.

And the Medium Farms would be another 900,000! Although Samuel has a lot of Dogs of War he would still need some time to relocate them there.

''Just take your time. There is no rush.''

Samuel just shook his head. He still needed to collect 7 more rare herbs. It won't be easy to do that, so he will have plenty of time to develop the farms while he searches.

Quickly time passed. And since Samuel received the mission, a year has passed.

Over this year, the Lanford Family continued to focus on two things, research and developing Spiritual Farms.

All the income and profits made where either spent on buying new slaves or books to increase the depth of the family knowledge, or spent on developing Spiritual Farms.

''Master it this way.''

However, in the depths of the Eternal Battlefield, a young man dressed in a blue robe was leading a beautiful woman.

''Are you sure it was the undead?''

''Yes master! I promise. And the number was so high it was likely a necromancer occupied the plane.''

The young man's eyes flashed when he heard the woman's question. Her sultry voice echoed in his ear as he released a slightly lustful smile.

However it quickly disappeared, as if he was just a kind and innocent boy.

''Excellent! If we can kill the necromancer and find the source of their magic my practise can go further!''

The woman had a devilish face and figure, but an evil conscience to match. Around her body you could see a slight greenish mist filled with the spiralling tortured souls.

If you looked carefully, beneath her robe you would see that her body was slightly translucent!

Quickly the duo rushed past dozens of terrains and quickly arrived.

''See Master it really is the undead!''

''Haha sure enough. You've done well this time Narias, I will definitely reward you when we get back.''

The woman looked at the scene below her and licked her lips lewdly.

Beneath here, there were thousands of undead skeletons of all shapes and sizes moving heavy bricks or stones and woods slowly constructing a fortress around a small portal.

Hundreds of identical bulky skeletons held axes and swords as they blocked the portal from the outside world.

''Not bad, the skeletons here aren't low quality.''

The woman watched the crowds move with some appreciation in her heart. Although with her Middle Rank 3 Strength none of these Rank 1 and Rank 2 Skeletons were an opponent they weren't bad.

''Lets go.''

The woman suddenly flashed, reappearing above the half constructed wall.

Her hand reached out and countless souls flew out. Green spirits rushed towards the skeletons like wolves jumping on their prey.

'Sch' 'Krac'

The skeletons bumped their bones against each other as they rushed towards the incoming enemies.

A faint Spiritual Energy wrapped around the blades of the skeletons as they cut towards the spirits.

Quickly a battle ensued on the exterior of the portal. Hundreds of spirits versus thousands of Skeletons.

Unfortunately the durability of the skeletons was pitiful in comparison to the Spirits. A constant stream of aura constantly flowed into the Spirits bodies, replenishing their strength.

''Lets go.''

Seeing that the skeletons were all but taken care of, the woman dived into the portal with the Narias.

''Die!''

However as soon as they reappeared, a raspy voice echoed across the aptly named Undead Plane.

A giant Skeleton over Seven Feet Tall smashed a colossal hammer towards the appearing woman.

''Too weak.''

The woman however, just glanced at it disdainfully. Her slender fingers reached out causing dozens of faint green strings to wrap around the bones of the skeleton.

The giant skeleton suddenly crumbled to the ground. The bones severed completely from every direction. After all, it was only a High Rank 2 Undead.

However it wasn't over. A dense rattling sound rang out as countless small white bones in the forms of dogs, nieps and countless other creatures rushed towards the woman.

''Bah just a bunch of ants.''

The woman however, didn't care. Her eyes just calmly watched as her fingers danced wildly.

Wherever they went hundreds of green silk strands would fly out, killing countless undeads.

''Stop.''

Creation is hard, cheer me up!
