　　Javon smiled, although his face was still pale. "Cora, you're really a nice person," he murmured.

　　"So, the bruises on your face. Did Patricia do that?" I asked.

　　Javon shook his head.

　　I was confused. "Who could do it?"

　　Javon looked at me meaningfully.

　　I suddenly realized and said, "Pedro?"

　　This time, Javon nodded.

　　I almost burst out that Pedro wouldn't do that because I had seen him. But I forced myself to close my mouth tight. I wasn't sure, actually. There was a possibility that Pedro went to beat Javon after seeing me.

　　But I had promised Pedro to go with him. Why did he still do that? "Does Pedro really hate Javon that much?" I thought.

　　"Pedro sent his men to follow me, and they were found by me. So we had a conflict," Seeing that I didn't believe him, Javon said.
