Jiang Ting stared blankly at him for a second.

"Go and explain it to her. That seems like the only way to do it. I mean, what sort of miracle were you hoping for?"

Lin Fan seemed disappointed.

"That is the only way, I suppose."

In the meanwhile, a familiar face finally showed up amidst the crowd.

"Junior brother, it has been a while." Zhao Song grinned as he came up to Jiang Ting and Lin Fan.

"Senior brother, I heard you have made quite some progress. Master seemed displeased though."

Zhao Song grew annoyed as soon as he heard that.

"That old man does not know what he is talking about. Forget about him. How are your preparations for the martial arts gathering? And what about you, junior brother Lin? I did not expect to see you here today."

Lin Fan smiled.
