Chapter 7 - Palace of the Eternal Covenant

Leaving the Song Family mansion, Jiang Ye decided not to immediately cancel the break in the weather and walked home while pondering a few matters

He decided to found the Palace of the Eternal Pact while he was on his way to the Song Family. She ran into the room and found her grandfather kneeling on the floor next to the fist-shaped hole

"Haha, don't worry, remember that your grandfather is very strong," said Song Zhenfang with a smile, affectionately stroking Song Ruyi's head

"Grandpa, that..." began Song Ruyi, looking at the huge hole in the wall

"Hm, that's not something children should worry about," replied Song Zhenghao with a stern expression, displaying the imposing aura of the old patriarch of the Song Family

"I'm not a child anymore, I'm eighteen," replied Song Ruyi shyly, her voice trembling a little at her grandfather's domineering expression

For me, my Ruyi will always be a little child," replied Song Zhenghao with an affectionate smile

"Go get ready, but later I have something important to announce to the family," Song Zhenghao said shortly afterwards, her smile disappearing to reveal a serious expression

Originally, Song Ruyi was eager to ask more questions about what had happened, but when she saw her grandfather's serious expression, she immediately contained her concern and obeyed

Seeing her leave, Song Zhenghao couldn't help muttering, "Eternal Covenant Palace, was that the right choice?"
