Love will find a way!

As the afternoon turned into the evening across DinoIsle, things have become quite quiet near Parker's hollow tree. Of course, several different dinosaurs were still going about their day as usual close by. Such as the long-necked Brontosaurus, as it stripped the leaves of a nearby cedar tree while a lone Triceratops browses on a low-growing cypress bush. There is also a pair of crested Parasaurolophus, feeding together on a small tree fern while the plated and spike-tailed Stegosaurus fed on some lower-growing ferns. However, there is one little dinosaur that refused to stir. It is Parker the Parksosaurus, lying down on his nest-shaped bed. The little dinosaur was feeling depressed, so he did not want to do much of anything now.

"I guess this is it," Parker sighed as he thought to himself. "I guess things will go back to the way they were before. Back to before I ever found Amber, when life on DinoIsle went by as it did for the last tens of millions of years."

The little dinosaur continued to remain quietly on his bed, not wanting to get back up or even leave his home. Ever since Amber went back with her fellow human, Parker has already begun to miss the young lady…. especially since he never got the chance to tell Amber how he felt about her. But then from outside the Sequoia tree, the voice of a certain proto-bird called out.

Parker...?" Flap called out feeling worried. "Would you...mind if we come in?"

"You can." Parker sighed as he gestured for his fellow dinosaurs to come inside the tree.

As they all walked into the tree, the Paleo Pals were surprised to see how sad and depressed their friend was feeling and wanted to comfort him.

"Parker, what is the matter?" Dusk asked the little dinosaur feeling concerned. "You've been like this ever since Amber left with her sibling and two friends."

"I know Dusk," Parker sighed to the feathered dinosaur. "I guess I never thought that after all this time Amber stayed with me at my hollow tree, I would already start to miss her."

After explaining how he felt, the little dinosaur looked back down feeling sad once again. Sure enough, Flap, Boulder, and Dusk came to a surprising realization."

"You love her, don't you?" Flap asked surprising Parker a bit. "I just assume it was obvious."

"Not to mention that you two get along quite well," Dusk added.

"Though why haven't you told us before?" Boulder wondered.

"I don't think it matters now," Parker shook his head. "Amber's heading back to where she should be."

"Are you sure about that Parker?" Flap asked the little dinosaur. "Sounds to me that you're just giving up."

"Indeed," Dusk nodded. "Why we can understand that you're just trying to do the right thing, I'm not sure it would be wise to disregard what you're feeling deep down in your heart."

"Guys…," Parker said astonished by what his friends are saying. "You three are right, I should not have disregarded how I felt about Amber just because I know that she must head back to Maple Hill. I should have at least admitted my feelings to her before she and fellow humans departed!"

"Then maybe we should head for Saurus Shores and see if they left yet," Boulder suggested.

"What a Jurassic Fantastic Idea Boulder!" Parker smiled. "Come on my fellow saurian, we have a boat to catch."

Sure enough, the Paleo Pals raced towards the cove in hopes of catching the charter boat before it left for Maple Hill. As fast as their legs (or wings in Flap's case) could carry them, the four dinosaurs raced across the cedar swamp until they reached Saurus Shores. However, they were too late because the boat was already out of sight.

"Oh fossils," Parker looked down solemnly. "We've missed it."

"I guess we should've taken a shortcut," Flap added as he looked down in disappointment.

"You mean…Amber is gone now?!" Boulder asked tearfully.

"I'm afraid so Boulder," Dusk solemnly added.

Feeling that they had failed to make it in time, the Paleo Pals proceeded back towards Parker's hollow tree. But just before they could leave the cove behind…

"There you four are," a familiar voice called out.

Turning towards the direction of where the voice came from, Parker, Flap, Boulder, and Dusk were astonished to see that Amber was standing next to the four dinosaurs as she waved to them sweetly.

"Amber?!" Parker asked in surprise. "What in the Mesozoic are you doing here? We thought you were heading home with your fellow humans."

"For a moment we were," Amber replied. "But after some careful consideration, we've decided to spend our summer here with you four."

Sure enough, Amber gestured to her brother Chris and her friends Kate and Emily as they happily greeted the Paleo Pals. As they looked behind the other humans, the four dinosaurs saw that they had tied up the charter boat to a nearby boulder.

"I…don't get it," Parker admitted. "How come you've changed your mind about…?"

Just before he could finish his sentence, the little dinosaur was suddenly picked up by Amber as she passionately kissed Parker on his lips (or his beak to be precise).

"Does that answer your question, Parker," Amber smiled sweetly. "I love you, Parker! And I am incredibly grateful to have you in my life and I was hoping it could stay that way for as long as it can."

Without hesitation, the little dinosaur humbly smiled as he kissed Amber right back on her lips. While this was going on, Chris and Kate looked on at this peculiar pairing between a human and a dinosaur.

"Are you sure you're okay with this Chris?" Kate asked her boyfriend curiously. "After all, she is your sister."

"Good question," Chris admitted. "But to be fair, as long as Amanda or should I say Amber is okay with this…I guess I can learn to accept that."

"Alright, I just wanted to make sure," Kate giggled as she and Chris kissed one another passionately as well.

Afterward, Chris, Kate, and Emily got their stuff out from the boat as they readied themselves to join Amber and the Paleo Pals at Parker's hollow tree.

"Well, here's the stuff we can bring," Chris said as he carried two suitcases. "And then some."

"Got to be prepared for anything," Emily added cheerfully as she struggled to carry her suitcase.

"Here, let me help you," Boulder offered as he placed the suitcase on his back.

"Why thank you Boulder," Emily said to the frilled dinosaur gratefully.

"Don't mention it," Boulder replied.

"Just what this place needs," Flap said jokingly. "More giant talking mammals."

"Not to worry Flap," Dusk replied. "I'm certain we can all manage a few more visitors."

Just before they departed, Parker and Amber looked at one another while holding each other's hands as they thought of an idea.

"Care to do the honors, Amber?" Parker asked his new significant other.

"With pleasure," Amber smiled sweetly before looking at Chris, Kate, and Emily. "WELCOME ...…TO DINOISLE EVERYONE!!!"

Sure enough, everyone cheered happily as they departed for the hollow to begin a brand-new adventure here within the prehistoric paradise of DinoIsle!

The End!
