Twenty three : Copenhagen

Today is my second day in Copenhagen, Denmark. Yesterday my plane landed in Copenhagen at 8:30 in the morning. Nearly fourteen hours I was on the plane. When I arrived, I went straight to the hotel that I had booked before. I rested all day. Then tour the city center at night.

It is 9 o'clock in the morning and I am ready to leave. Today I wear a striped midi dress, a denim jacket and white sneakers. Because I will walk all day I choose to wear comfortable shoes. I looked at my reflection in the mirror and smiled in satisfaction. I let my hair down, I take my bag and walked out of the hotel room.

Today, I will visit the Amalienborg palace and Frederik's Church or better known as the Marble Church. According to the guidebook I read, it took about 20 minutes from the hotel to Amalienborg palace on foot. Today's weather is very sunny. The buildings along the road that I passed are very beautiful. Danish people also look very friendly, they always smile and helpful.

I have arrived in beautiful square in front of the Amalienborg palace and the Marble church. The two buildings are located next to each other. Many tourists are taking pictures of this palace. I went to the palace entrance and registered to take a tour of the palace.

For about an hour, I spent my time touring the Amalienborg palace. Then I visited the Marble church. There are only 5 tourists who are walking around admiring the grandeur of this church. I glanced at my watch, it was almost 12 noon. I hurried to the Amalienborg palace square to watch a Changing the Guard Ceremony. Many people have gathered to watch it. I recorded the ceremony with my cellphone camera, I wanted to send the video to Sunmi.

After finishing, I headed for a restaurant around Amalienborg Palace. I ordered smorrebrod (Danish-style sandwich with a variety of filling on it). I turn on my cellphone screen and start sending messages to Sunmi.

"Sunmi-ah! I have just seen the Changing Guard Ceremony at Amalienborg Palace. Daebak !! You have to see it ... I sent you a video. You must come and watch it live someday, It's amazing", I wrote

I closed my cellphone and enjoyed my lunch.

"Sora, You make me jealous !! I see you really enjoy your vacation there. I miss you ... I know that you've been gone for two days, but I miss you so much !! Have fun :) ", reply message from Sunmi

I smiled reading it. I continued to eat my lunch.

Another incoming message. I haven't replied to Sunmi's message, why is she sending another message ?, I asked myself. I opened the incoming message, it is a message from Namjoon.

"Annyeong Sora ssi ... sorry I just read your message. I just finished packing my things. We are planning to check out this afternoon. Anyway, where did you stay in Copenhagen? I hope you have a nice day," wrote Namjoon

I frowned in confusion. Checked out?. Yesterday, he said that he would stay in Vienna until the day after tomorrow.

"Check out? Are you going to go to another city, oppa? You said you would be in Vienna until the day after tomorrow. Anyway, I'm staying at the Marriott hotel, the hotel has a beautiful view because it is right in front of the canal. I hope you have a nice day too," I replied

"I will fly to Copenhagen this evening. See you later," reply from Namjoon

"Omo !!", I said in surprise, I almost spilled my drink. Namjoon will fly to Denmark ?. I was very surprise. Namjoon and his two friends have been in europe for 5 days. they have traveled to milan, Venice and Vienna so far. I didn't know that he was going to Denmark.

"Jinjja ??", write my message briefly

"Ne ... me and my friends changed our plans. I hope we can get around Copenhagen together. You don't mind if we join you?", Asked Namjoon

"Ye. Of course I will be very happy if we can get around together. That's the advantage of traveling, you can meet and make new friends", replied my message

"Haha ne, you're right. Alright, see you later. I'll let you know if I arrived in Copenhagen," Namjoon answered

I looked at the Amalienborg palace square while shaking my head. Unexpectedly, I will meet Namjoon in the next few hours. After lunch I continued my activities which was visiting the Copenhagen city hall. I climbed the city hall tower to enjoy the beautiful views of Copenhagen. Then tour the street market that sells street food and Danish trinkets and accessories.

I spent my afternoon sitting around in cafes around the city hall. It turned out to be very fun traveling alone. I can freely arrange activities according to my wishes. My cellphone rang and I saw my father's number on the cellphone screen.

"Yeobosseyo appa (halo dad)", greet me on the phone

"Yeobosseyo Sora", my father answered

"Appa, how are you? I arrived in Copenhagen yesterday. This city is really beautiful," I said excitedly

"Me and oemma (mom) are fine, Sora ... I'm glad you enjoyed your trip, you sound so happy", my father said

"Ne. I really enjoyed it!", I answered again

"Thank God ... by the way, I wanna talk about Fabio's concert tomorrow. Can you bring him flowers? I want to congratulate him, Can you write my massage to him on the greeting card?", my father said

"Ne. Of course I can do that. I will bring a big flower bouquet for Fabio tomorrow", I answered with a smile

"Thank you Sora. I am very helped, I will send the message for Fabio later. Alright, I'll hang up the phone. Take care of your health there, always be careful and get enough rest," my father said

"Ne appa..saranghae yo", I answered before hanging up the phone

I walked back to my hotel. I'm tired but also happy. Along the way I hum while observing people passing by. I arrived at the hotel lobby at 6 pm. I want to take a shower and change my clothes before going out for dinner.

"Kim Sora ssi!", I heard someone calling my name from across the lobby

I looked around to see where the call came from.

"Yeogi yeogi! (Here here!)", I saw a tall man, wearing glasses and wearing a hat waving his arms in the distance. I squinted to see more clearly. I'm not sure who he is. Seeing myself confused, the man in black shirt run towards me.

"Sora-ah! You don't recognize me?", He asked, chuckling while taking off his glasses

"Namjoon oppa ???", I said in disbelief when I saw him running closer

"Annyeong", he said when he stood before me

"Oh my, you have arrived ?!", I answered in wide-eyed

"Ne ... we just finished checking in this hotel. Did you just come back after touring the city ?", Said Namjoon still smiling, showing his dimples.

"Ne ... I just arrived. You staying here? That's why you asked where I am staying in Copenhagen?", I said shaking my head as I chuckled

"Ne. Is that okay?", He asked with a shy smile

"Of course", I replied

"Come on, I'll introduce you to my friends", he said while walking beside me

"Guys, this is Kim Sora. Sora, this is my best friends Shin Donghyuk and Tokki," Namjoon said, introducing us

"Annyeong, nice to meet you," I replied, bowing

"Annyeong ... nice to meet you", answered the man with black hair who was introduced by Namjoon as Tokki

"Annyeong, aigoo, so is she Kim Sora that you always tell us about?", Said the man with blond hair while nudging Namjoon's stomach

"Uh?", I said confused as I looked at the three of them

"Ani ani ... they're just kidding," Namjoon said, blushing and laughing

Donghyuk and Tokki also chuckled seeing him.

"You haven't seen your room yet?", I asked again, looking at the suitcases behind them

"Not yet. We just finished checking in. We are just going to our room," Tokki said, showing the key card in his hand

"Which floor are you staying at?" I asked again

"We got rooms on the 7th floor. How about you?", Asked Namjoon

"I'm on the 8th floor", I replied smiling at them

"Alright. Let's go up," Donghyuk said while dragging his suitcase to the elevator

We entered the elevator together.

"I was surprised oppa, you arrived very quickly", I said to Namjoon

"Yes ... we took a flight at 3 pm and arrived at 5 pm. Then we went straight to this hotel," Namjoon explained

The elevator door opens on the 7th floor. Then Namjoon and his friends came out one by one.

"I'll call you", Namjoon said as the elevator door moved closed in front of us

I waved my hand while nodding. I leaned against the elevator wall, I still can't believe we met here. I went out on the 8th floor and walked slowly into my room. I was about to take off my shoes when my cellphone rang.

"Yeobosseyo?", I replied

"Hello Kim Sora ssi. Have you been in your room?", Asked Namjoon

"Nee, I just came in", I replied while continuing to take off my shoes

"I'm sorry, you must be surprised I came suddenly. I didn't mean to disturb your vacation," said Namjoon

"Ani. I'm glad you're here. It seems like it will be fun spending time with you here," I said again

"Gomawo yo. By the way, did you have dinner?" Asked Namjoon

"Not yet. I plan to take a shower and then go out for dinner," I explained

"Uh, how about we have dinner together? I mean, With my friends too," asked Namjoon awkwardly

"Of course. I planned to have dinner on Green Island, a floating cafe-bar in the middle of the canal. About 15 minutes walking from here, "I said excitedly

"Wow, sounds good. Let's have dinner there then," said Namjoon

"Okay. We'll meet in an hour in the lobby, huh?" I said

"Arasso. See you later," Namjoon answered

After hanging up the phone, I rushed to take a shower and change clothes. I wear jeans, a pink lace blouse, and sandals. This time I tied my hair into ponytail. At 7.30 pm, I went down to the lobby and saw the three of them sitting in the lobby couch.

"Sorry, have you been waiting too long?" I asked

"Ani. We also just arrived," Namjoon answered as he stood up from his chair

"Are we leaving now?", Donghyuk asked

"Kajja", I said

We chatted while walking to Green Island. They told me about their vacation in Italy and Austria. It was amusing listening to them, they are like students who tell about their study tour.

"Look!That's the cafe," I said, pointing to a place in the middle of the canal which was lit by a light

"Wow daebak! Looks great!", Said Tokki

Green Island is a floating cafe and bar on the canal in the center of Copenhagen. The atmosphere of this cafe at night is very charming. As if we were on a boat. We occupy an empty table in the corner. We ordered quite a lot of food. While waiting for our food to arrive, we started chatting again.

"Shin Donghyuk ssi, I'm kind of familiar with your face ", I said to one of Namjoon's friends

"jinjja? Have we met before?", Donghyuk answered

"I don't know. But it seems like I've seen your face somewhere. Are you an idol too?", I asked, remembering

"Are you an ARMY, Sora ssi?", This time Tokki asked me

"Ne", I replied proudly

"No wonder. If you are an ARMY you must be familiar with our faces," answered Donghyuk laughing

"Huh? Why?" I asked confused

"Sora-ah, actually they are BTS producers. They are the important people behind BTS music," Namjoon answered smiling at me

"Jinjja ??", I asked wide-eyed

"Maybe you know me better with my nick name. I am Slowrabbit," Tokki said, winking

"Ahh!! Ne...Tokki is rabbit (in Korean)..oh my goodness...I just realized that", I shouted

"Ne! You are Slowrabbit! And you must be Supreme boi, right ??", I asked, pointing at Donghyuk

"You're right! Wow, I didn't think you would remember our faces," Donghyuk said admiringly

"Of course I remember. I said that I had seen your face somewhere. Because I also find out who are the people who play an important role behind BTS. You are incredible! It is an honor to meet great producers!", I said in awe while clapping

"Hey Sora, how about me? I'm also a producer. Even I'm a rapper and songwriter too", said Namjoon sulking

"Uh?", I said while looking confused

"Are you jealous, Namjoonie?", Tokki asked, laughing

"Hahaha, you must be jealous because Sora really admires us," Donghyuk said while laughing so hard

"Ani..ani..that's not what I mean", said Namjoon laughing while covering his face in shame

"Oppa! You're fabulous. Everyone knows how amazing you are," I said, laughing and clapping for him

"Stop it, you make me embarrassing ," answered Namjoon laughing still covering his face in shame

"Oh kyeopta (cute)", I said smiling seeing him

We spent the rest of the night chatting and joking. I really enjoyed this dinner. We can freely laugh and make fun of each other. Even though I met these two great people for the first time, I didn't feel awkward at all. They are truly delightful friends.
