Fourteen : Art Galery

At 11 noon I arrived at Minerva. Not too crowded today, there are only a few visitors who are reading. A man stands behind the reception desk this time. He greeted me kindly and asked me to fill in the visitor data. Thinking maybe I would spend my day off here, I finally decided to become a member of Minerva.

"Where can I meet Kim Sora?", I asked the male employee

"Oh, Kim Sora ssi is on the 2nd floor. You can go up this stairs," he said

"Gomawo", I said

I climbed the stairs to the 2nd floor, Children Area is smaller than the reading place below. There are many mini bookcases with colorful book covers. There is a large and soft carpet in the middle of the room, on which are placed small pillows with cute-shaped. Then on the right, there are wooden toys filling two large shelves, and there are chairs and a small table where children read. This room is very nice, very colorful, surely children will enjoy spending time here.

I saw Kim Sora sitting in a carpet in front of a bookshelf. There is a large cardboard box with lots of books beside her. She wore jeans, and a short-sleeved floral shirt. She tied her hair today. Her face looked serious staring at the books one by one in the cardboard.

I walked over to her, took off my shoes and walked on the carpet to approach her.

"Annyeong Sora ssi", I said smiling

"Ah..oppa, annyeong", she answered while looking at me and smiling

"What are you doing?", I asked, sitting next to her

"I'm putting new books on this shelf," she said, pointing to a children book

"Are you busy?", I asked again

"No, this just needs to be arranged in this bookshelf and then finished," she said. "What are you going to do today, oppa?", she asked again

"I don't know yet," I shrugged. "May I help you?", I asked, taking a book

"Sure", she replied

We talked while putting books on the shelf in front of us. The children's area is currently only visited by 4 children with their mothers. they seemed to enjoy their activities.

"Sora ... let's have lunch ", I said after seeing my watch which shows at 11:45

"Ne... what do you want to eat?", she asked

"Bbq. Do you know the restaurants around here that aren't too crowded?", I asked, staring at her

"Mmm ... there is Little Seoul nearby. They have a private room and their food is delicious", she explained excitedly

"We eat there then, I'm already hungry. Kajja! (Come on!)," I said, standing up

I reached out my hand to help her up. She raised her eyebrows at my hand.

"Eh?", she said

"Let me help you ..", I replied shyly

Finally Sora accepted my hand to help her up. I felt a tickling sensation when my hand touched her hand. We became a little awkward. I rubbed the back of my neck in shame. And I saw her blushed. We didn't look at each other as we went down the stairs to the first floor.

"Ah, the sky is beautiful today," I said, looking up at the sky while stretching my arms

"Nee ... it's really bright," replied Sora

We smiled at each other and started walking towards Little Seoul. When we arrived there, Sora greeted the shop owner and asked for a private room for us. Then the owner took us to a small room on the second floor. Actually the place to eat below is not too crowded, but I just want to be more careful. If there is a fan or someone who took our picture while eating together it will definitely cause trouble. And I avoid that very much.

We ordered jajangmyeon (black beans noodles) and bbq galbi (beef ribs). It's true that the food here is very delicious. This is the first time I've eaten with a woman since we debuted. I feel awkward, for some reason my heart is beating fast. Though this is just an ordinary lunch, not a date. I saw Sora really enjoyed the food and looked relaxed.

"Do you often eat in public places like this, oppa?", she asked

"Well, not really. Usually when we eat in restaurants, we will order a private place like this too. We don't want to attract too much attention," I said after chewing and swallowing my food.

"Do you have any activities for this afternoon? ", I asked again

"Ani yo (no) .. actually I am not too busy every day. I only record books and look at Minerva's report. All the tasks have mostly been done by my manager", she replied with a smile

"Then do you want to accompany me around Seoul? Mmmm... I just want to visit some museums and galleries in Seoul, but it seems to be boring if I go alone", I explained again

I lowered my head, why is my face hot?. I glanced at her, I saw her frowned at me.

"Alright! I haven't visited the museum either during my stay in Seoul," she said, shrugging and smiling

"When will we go?", she asked again

"How about after lunch? I'll call my driver to take us there", I said again

"Driver? Do you have to be accompanied by your driver wherever you go?", she asked curiously

"Ani .. it's just...I don't have a driver's license, so I can't go driving alone," I say embarrassed, as I rub the back of my neck

"Eh? Jinjja?", she asked in disbelief

"Ne... I tried the test many times but it never worked, even Suga hyung said, I'd better not drive a car for the sake of world peace", I said laughing

Sora laughed at my story.

"Then, let's just take my car," she said, still laughing

She was so beautiful, her eyes sparkled when she laughed. I feel comfortable with her. There was a strange tingling feeling when I looked at her, who knows what this feeling is.

After lunch, we returned to Minerva. I waited for Sora in front of the ground floor entrance. She was going to her office to get her bag and a car key. After that we headed for her car which was behind the Minerva building, a special parking for the employees.

We decided to visit Arario Gallery in Dongnam. Beside me, Kim Sora was putting on a seat belt and started to start the engine.

"When you got your driver's license?", I asked her while putting on my seatbelt

"Mmm I started learning to drive a car since I graduated from high school. Then I got my driver's license when I was 20 years old", she replied while remembering

"Wow, it must be nice to be able to drive a car freely and go anywhere," I said, staring at the car's windshield

"Surely you can get a license someday, oppa", she said smiling

"I am very awkward when I have to control something, which is why I can't drive a car," I pouted

I held a colorful beads that hung from the windshield of the car, but the necklace broke and fell to the floor.

"Andweee (noooo)!", I said in panic and picked up the necklace

Sora looked shocked, but soon laughed immediately seeing my face.

"Oppa ... your face is so cute ... omooo ... kyeopta (cute)", she said, still laughing while driving the car

"Aah mianne (sorry) Sora ssi ", I said while pointing at the broken necklace

"Haha gwaenchana (it's ok), I'll fix it later," she said again. "So that's right, what people say that you are God of Destruction?", she said with a smile

"Aaah ... yeah that's true. I don't know why I always damage the things I'm holding. Lots of things in our house are broken because of me..aaah so annoying", I said sadly while shaking my head

"But you look very funny, oppa. I'm sure you didn't do it on purpose," she said, still smiling as she looked at the road in front of her

"I'm sorry Sora, I really accidentally damaged your necklace", I said again while continuing to hold the necklace in my palm

"It's okay, it was a necklace I made when there was a handicraft workshop in Minerva. But because it won't fit, I ended up hanging it as decoration", explained Sora

"I will replace it, I feel so guilty," I said feeling guilty

"no, you don't need to replace it. It's ok", she insisted

Finally we arrived at Arario Gallery. This gallery building is a cube shape and has a modern touch. I've read about this gallery, there are many exhibited works by contemporary artists from Korea and Asia.

We spent 3 hours traveling around and enjoying the works of art here. Kim Sora also apparently knew a lot about the art exhibited. I feel very happy to be able to spend time with her. At 17:30 we decided to return to Minerva, because I asked my driver to pick me up there.

The atmosphere in Minerva was quite crowded because it was filled with people who had come home from work. Sora was a bit worried if I had to wait in the reading area at ​​the first floor, she did not want to cause a stir when visitors saw me alone there. Finally she offered me to wait in her office on the ground floor.

The office room is rectangular in shape. There is a work desk with a computer and telephone facing the door. Then there is a large shelf on the right containing work files and beautiful displays of various shapes of figurines and there is a small refrigerator next to the shelf. On the left, there is a window facing the parking lot and a sofa in front of the window. Although it's not too big, this room is very neat. Kim Sora invited me to sit.

"Are you tired, oppa? Do you want to drink something?", Sora asked, putting her bag on her desk

"Do you have cola?", I asked

"Sure," said Sora, then opened the refrigerator to get two cans of cola

She sat beside me, handing me a can of cola.

"The gallery was extraordinary, this is the first time I've seen art like that," she said, taking a sip of cola

"Ne", I agreed

Then we sit there awkwardly while sipping our cola.

"Mmm.. do you have time tomorrow? Maybe we can visit another museum...I want to visit K-pop museum, honestly," I said, staring at her

"I think I don't have anything to do tomorrow. Well, K-Pop museum sounds fun", she answered smiling at me

* knock knock

There was a knock at the door

"Eonnie ... are you back? I have something to talk to you," a woman in Minerva uniform entered the room

"I want kyaaaa !!", she said in surprise, closing her mouth

Sora and I looked at each other.

"Ah Aeri ssi, please don't tell anyone," said Sora, approached her and put her index finger in front of her lips

"Is he really RM ?? ", she asked wide-eyed

"Ne, I'm RM, nice to meet you", I said smiling

"Eonnie ... do you know him? Why didn't you tell me ??", Aeri said, staring at Sora

"RM ssi I am your fan! I really like you, you are my bias!", Said Aeri jumping up and down with joy

"Because I know you will behave like this, Aeri ... please calm down first, then we will talk later," said Sora frowning while pushing Aeri out of the room

"Oh..oppa ... forgive me. I didn't know she would behave like that", Sora said leaning on the door while shaking her head

"Gwaenchana, many of my fans do more than that", I said smiling at her

My cellphone vibrated and I saw a message from my driver, who said that he was waiting for me outside. I stood up and walked towards Sora.

"I have to go, I really enjoyed today. See you tomorrow?", I said standing in front of her

"Yes, see you tomorrow. I also really enjoyed today," said Sora, smiling

I left the room and headed straight for my car. I smiled remembering the time we spent together today. I closed my eyes, tomorrow I will meet her again, hopefully tomorrow will be a day as pleasant as today, I told myself.
