The Second Journey
The next day, the dark elves were ready to depart with their carriages and wooden carts, fortunately salvaged from the war. However, compared to ordinary wooden carts, theirs could be considered scrap. The impact of the war was evident on the wooden frames of the carts. From small scratches to deep cuts and some parts already cut or broken. But at least their carts could still be used to transport food back, especially after the elders provided them with additional food as a reserve when winter arrived.
Initially, the dark elves refused, fearing that the elf race would lack food. However, the elders did this not without reason. Once winter arrived, the elf race would temporarily take refuge in the dark elves' caves because without the blessing magic that also provided them warmth, the elf race would freeze to death.
