The Constructs relentlessly pursued, their numbers increasing to the point where it became difficult to find a way out without using magic, which they wanted to minimize. Some of the Constructs were absorbing the magic and using it, making movement difficult, especially when one of them intentionally froze the path.
Reluctantly, Teena had to use fire magic, ensuring they didn't fall while making sure none of the Constructs absorbed the magic—though that was unlikely to succeed. There were too many of them to handle, emerging from every direction that their arms and legs ached from repeatedly striking the hard copper.
