Cracks of Conviction

The harenar stepped down with his right hand raised to chest level and began to slowly rotate it as if turning something. Simultaneously, each act of destruction that had occurred began to slowly reverse, following the time that was being rewound by him. Mountain-sized chunks of earth floated slowly back into the ground, even down to the smallest fragments. The same happened with each tornado, now doing a reverse spin before finally disappeared. The mountain that had split in two started to reassemble as it was before, along with the storm above, which also began to clear, allowing sunlight to shine through.

No one could believe their eyes, thinking it was just a dream. Even high-level magic couldn't control time like that, as if time itself was within his grasp, making them wonder who exactly was capable of all this and where he had been during other wars. Why did he only appear now? And was he on their side?
