chapter 1

hello , my name is Ken and this is my story .

Ken age 17

April 3 ( in principal office seidou high school )

principal - so now all process of your transfer are done now . Ken was it , hmm.. you want to join our baseball club huh .. good good .. its sure nice to be young .. good luck young man .

( well let's explain some details now .. )

one day exactly February 14 , I woke up and found myself in a different room from the one I lived in . I was seriously inwardly panicking but all the fear just blew away somewhere when heard a certain message inside my mind after a short while .

the message explained the reason of the phenomenon that I was experiencing. well to put it simply , I just died and my conscious was sent inside a new body belonging to a 17 year old high school student in diamond no ace world . i believed everything easily as i knew that my body was different and even the surroundings had changed .

the reason was unexpectedly simple though. the day I died , in the morning I saved a middle aged woman on the road when she was going to be hit by a car . the middle aged woman turned out to be a scientist who created the cure for coronavirus in future after my death. to be honest , I didnt feel like I was dead or anything as according to the message I died quietly during sleep at night the same day due to internal bleeding of some organs in my body . i guessed that i didnt notice right after I was hit by the car after pushing away the lady .

this body belonged to a boy called Ken too and he was an orphan. I got all his memories so I knew that his parents died in a car accident a month ago . this unlucky boy also died of a heart attack right before I took over his body . I couldn't care less about his luck as the body was now mine .

I was happy because I could play baseball again but things would be different in this life . you see, i had a weak body in my past life so baseball skills were really low . even my academic talent was average so I was depressed thinking about my future but this gift of God came at the right time .

this new body was not athletic but it was way better than my previous one . previous owner's parents were both doctors so I didnt have to worry about money as the savings according to memories were more than 100 million yen . on top of that I had no relatives in this life so this money was all mine .

the best gift were the perks God gifted me .

1. my body couldn't get sick and injuries would heal away faster than normal speed . if I fracture my wrist , it would heal completely next morning after a sleep of at least 1 hour .

2. I could read the mind of opponent pitcher and batter who face me in a matchup during games .

I was a pitcher in my past life because I loved the feeling of tension when I faced the batters on the mound and the satisfaction after striking them out . it was a secret, even though due to my weak body potential the MAX speed of my ball was only 112 km but I somehow possessed perfect control on my balls since I started as a pitcher . in my past life , I cursed my luck because even though i possessed perfect control skill , I couldn't play in a game much less my dream of pro baseball player . but now everything was different so I was excited about my future .

so , I trained my body and skills as hard as I could for a month and a half before enrolling in seido high school from anime.
