Chapter 83

Entering the diamond kingdom wasn't a problem as each of the groups split up immediately.

No words were exchanged as they had their jobs. They could feel it. The large magical energy coming from multiple individuals coming out of a large portal similar to Elden's magic.

They knew that the first gate opened. They become serious as they went to their places.

Some groups went to the civilians while others went to intercept the other devil's.

Elden, Julius, and Fox went straight towards the three in charge of this operation.

Lucifero, Megicula, and...

" I'm sorry. But what's your name? " Elden asked as he pointed at Zenon's devil.

" Oh, my name is Vergil. "

( The name is not cannon. His name was never revealed in manga. )

" Oh okay. Sorry, I just never knew. "

" It's fine. I never really told anyone. " Vergil said as he looked at Elden.

" Just like that, the serious atmosphere was ruined. " Fox said.

" It's impressive. " Megicula said.

" I know right. " Fox said.

" Well now then Julius it's time... "

" So I know this isn't going to matter in a few minutes but is she your girlfriend? " Vergil asked as he pointed at Fox.

" Yeah, she is. " Elden said. He agreed with Vergil, it wouldn't matter by the end.

" Really?! Dude, nice. " Vergil said with 2 thumbs up.

Lucifero just stared while Julius just chuckled. Fox and Megicula just watched. Fox was already used to his antics but she didn't think it would be the devil who asked.

" Nice choice. " Megicula said. She could respect Fox's choice which surprised both Fox even more.

" Fuck it. The atmosphere is ruined. Let's just fight. " Lucifero said.

Julius just appeared in front of him with a familiar blue ball of mana in his hand in front of Lucifero's face.

" Say less. "

' This bitch. '

Lucifero got blasted back as Julius chased after him.

Fox appeared in front of Megicula to slash her with her sword withdrawn from its sheath.

Megicula immediately dodged and moved away from Fox. Fox then chased after her to kill her.

Elden and Vergil looked at each other. They raised their hands at the same time and swiped downward.

Their attack was similar as they wanted to tear space. Their attacks canceled.

They teleported across the arena as they covered their arms and legs in space mana to cancel each other's mana to remove their limbs.

Elden dodged a strike from Vergil and grabbed Vergil. He then teleported to the ground and threw him towards the buildings.

Vergil phased through the first few houses before landing on the ground. Elden had looked at him and could now enter his personal space to strike him.

Vergil teleported in front of Elden with his claws stretched out and went for a strike towards his face.

Elden blocks the attack by grabbing Vergil's hand. He then kneed Vergil in the gut. Vergil tried to phase through it but Elden entered his space.

His eyes widened in surprise as he looked at Elden then slapped to the side.

He rocketed to the ground, bouncing on the ground before regaining balance.

His eyes widened as he looked at Elden. He just used this ability and yet Elden could affect him.

' He must be able to use the same ability. However, we don't share the same space so he would still phase through me.

Yet he hit me in that space. He invaded my own space. '

" How?! " Vergil asked completely dumbfounded.

" Creating dimensions is something I have been doing for a long time. I can make any setting I choose for each dimension. "

Elden looked at Vergil who was losing his mind at the revelation.

Elden raise this hand as he looked at Vergil.

" Domain expansion: Infinite void. "

Vergil snapped out of it but it was too late. He was trapped.

He could do everything. He felt it. In the process, he couldn't move.

" It was fun but there's only so much fun I can have in a war. " Elden said.

Creating a familiar purple ball of energy it invaded Vergil. Vergil could do nothing as he felt himself being erased from existence.

This also included Zenon who died along with him.

As the domain was released, all the devil's felt it. Vergil wasn't there. They couldn't feel his mana signature. He is dead.

Only Elden was left.

Lucifero looked in shock before calming himself.

" Seems Elden was faster than anticipated. " Julius said.

' It was a space mage vs a space mage. It would seem the diamond king was the better mage. ' Lucifero thought.

However, they then felt it.

He smiled as he looked at Julius. Julius also felt it as he watched more devils appear onto the battlefield.

" The 2nd gate has been opened. " Lucifero said while smiling.
