'Ahhh...fuck, my head...' Alex woke up on a cold floor with a splitting headache. He slowly opened his eyes, fighting through the increased intensity of his headache as he did, and saw that he wasn't outside on the street like he expected to be.
He was lying on his back, looking up, and although the room was very dark he could make out some kind of metal bars above him. He followed the metal bars above with his eyes until they eventually took a 90 degree turn downwards and pierced into the ground.
'I'm in a cage...' Alex sat up, enduring another bout of pain in the head as he did, and looked around more intently than before. The room was around 10 meters from wall to wall and seemed to be perfectly square in shape, from any side of the cage to the nearest wall would be around 5 meters.
