Ahh.
Mickey groaned in pain, and was forced to remove a drill from Mo Bing's leg.
His face turned cold underneath the mask, his gaze landing on a light golden glow from his chest.
"I said I will do it... don't rush me."
He ignored the mummers Mo Bing, and stared at the pink phone vibrating.
Mickey didn't hesitate to answer, but he just stayed silent, waiting for the police to move first.
"We agree to your demand."
It was that familiar voice from before, yet it now carried a hint of maturity... something that hadn't been there previously.
"It's not like we had any choice to begin with."
"However, you have no option to refuse our conditions. First, let us talk to the victim to see if he is still alive."
'He is really pushing me into a corner,' Mickey sneered inwardly, "Sure thing."
He got up from his seat and put the phone to Mo Bing's mouth, who was facing him.
Mickey removed the tape on the bald head's mouth, and the son of the conglomerate was quick with his words;
"You are going to come and rescue me, right?!"
Hearing Mo Bing's startled voice, Lang Yi got up from her seat and walked towards Chi Di.
Her heart was in her hands, and she could almost feel what her boss was going through.
"Young Master! It is me. Did he do something to you?!"
Chi Di didn't stop her.
Mo Bing felt joy, and tears streamed from his eyes. His voice filled with a lot of sobbing.
"My left eye was taken out, my fingers and toes were cut off. Pain, Lang Yi! I felt pain. He was even laughing when he peeled off the skin on my nose!"
Mo Bing started crying and couldn't continue talking.
Lang Yi's tears streamed down her rosy cheeks; she had watched him grow up, and he was more like a long-distance cousin to her.
Kang Yimo and Min Yize wanted to say a mouthful of words to the kidnapper for being immoral, but seeing Chi Di's fierce gaze, they kept their words to themselves.
"Is this the proper way to treat someone you kidnapped?! Don't you want money?! We can just decrease the money we're giving you, or cancel the deal because of your actions!"
Mickey's expression didn't move at this little threat.
Although the two were separated, he could picture what the agent he was talking to looked like... even if his imagination was wrong.
"If you do that, I will be left with no option but to send a few limbs over to Miss Mo."
"We will give you the money! Please don't hurt Young Master Bing anymore!" Lang Yi cried out. She hadn't dealt with such cases before and easily broke down.
Min Yize walked up to her and put his hand on her shoulder, walking her out of the room.
"Miss Lang, please."
She wanted to say something, but the words couldn't come from her mouth. She knew she was too weak to handle such an issue and walked out in the comfort of Yize's arms.
Kang Yimo looked at the two and snickered, 'He really knows how to take advantage of the situation. I hope he treats her better than what he did with me.'
She felt sour, but the image of her team being buried alive played in her mind, and her anger soared.
She walked up to Chi Di, who was fuming with rage to the point he couldn't say anything to the kidnapper.
As the leader, she naturally had to take over the situation.
"When are you going to hand over Mo Bing to us?"
"The moment when I confirm there is no tracking device and that all the spirit coins are not fake. I will send him over; you will immediately know it's him."
Kang Yimo understood how this kidnapper had planned everything. He was careful and didn't want to have the losing hand in the talks.
Mickey looked at his watch and said.
"There are 20 minutes before the drop time. I will hand over Mo Bing an hour after the drop time. I need to outrun all your traps, so it is understandable, right?"
Before he could hang up, Chi Di finally mustered the chance to speak.
He didn't even have the chance to set conditions like he wanted.
"Can I speak to Mo Bing again?!"
Mickey just moved the phone over to the bald head who was staring at the roof adorned with a bright ceiling filled with shimmering lights.
"Mo Bing, I want you to calm down and tell us what the kidnapper looks like."
Mickey raised his brows at this sudden question.
'They know their chances of catching me are low, so he wants to test me. Eh, go ahead, you won't get the real me.'
Mo Bing gave a side glance to Mickey, and there was no change in his face. He knew he had little information. But if that little information could save him, he would gladly cooperate.
"He is covering most of his skin, but when he pulled back his black sleeves, his skin was tan just like mine, and his eyes are gold."
Chi Di hung up, and Mickey chuckled underneath his mask. His eye color was red, and his skin was pale.
How can you even imagine catching me?!
