CHAPTER 4: BECOMING A SILVER WOLVES
While they get there, the place was a large chamber and so hot, everything that surrounds them is durable concretes. Lihan. Was astonished from what they've done to the place. Cane karate chops his head out of nowhere , getting his attention, cane welcomed him in the training grounds. "Alright kid!, you've got potential but do you have what it takes?" He said while doing a shadow boxing Infront of him. Lihan said that he will try and never complain, he said there's always a word "obey first, complain later." For soldiers. Kaiser and syndel was watching from the entrance, lihan was getting beat down and defeated by cane multiple times. Lihan doesn't have enough knowledge and logic in the fight, cane said that if he was a demon he would have finished him off. Cane dismisses lihan amd commanding him to take a rest. Lihan stands up and gets ready to fight again, cane was surprised he gives lihan want he wants.
After the training, lihan was full of bruises, he was limping and had a trouble laying down. This was just his first day, someone knocks his door again. He quickly opens it and it was Edward, he brings a news that they will be working together from missions. He said to head to kaliegos office to learn some intels and abouts. As lihan arrived at the office kaliego and Edward were waiting. As lihan took a sit kaliego tells them that they have a demon riddler from a ghost town from the West. The demons energy is overwhelming and nobody gets out alive because of not answering it's riddles. Kaliego said they need to answer his riddles to bypass his cancellation against attacks. Edward is smart so he was assigned to do it, while if they answered the riddle correct, lihan attacks a crucial blow to blitz him.
"Yes, commander kaliego!" As the two salutes and heads out.
Lihan was still limping and having a conversation about their mission tomorrow. They talked about roles in the silver wolves, mage, marksman, fighter. Edward is a mage and lihan is a fighter, Edward explains that the mage is the hardest roles since the sync of the fight is important to them. The marksman doesn't get close to the fight, they only need space and shoot accurately. Mage has support techniques and one of them is kaiser and syndel, their teams fights relucts to them. Edward said when their gonna do missions, he suggest that they will finish it in a quick way as possible. Lihan was bumped purposely by John still holding his humiliation from him. Lucius stops Infront of them and congratulates Edward for having his first partner. He then whispers to lihan, "I'm watching you, aware from your presence, don't make a wrong move against us." As he walks away slapping lihans ass mocking him. "You want me to punch him for you?" Edward asked lihan while cracking his fingers.
"You don't have to do that, it's just the start, soon...we will get along!"
In the next day, they ride a truck having a long trip for their mission. As they arrived in a ghost town, they entered an abandoned mansion. The structures changed, their surroundings transform making the mansion abnormal. The demon riddler has appeared with a big welcoming smile. The demon wasted no time and started his tricky game.
"I have two legs in the morning and I have four in nightime, what am I?"
Lihan charged with inhuman speed and punches it, he gets sliced ever part of his body. Bloods splatter but lihan always still standing looking at it with determination. He disappears and jumps over and over with blinding speed. Edward answered "It's a person, the person walks with two feet when their awake, they have four limbs because they sleep.". The demon looks at Edward with amazement and praised him, making it more agressive at giving riddles. But when the demons riddler was answered correct, lihan uses his "Aether Fist" and punches the demonin it's side. The demon felt the pain phisically and spiritually, the demon was fragile yet has a powerful technique. Edward stares at the demon and asked for more riddles. "A man is walking and the road behind him spreads.". Edward answered surely and confident, "it's a zipper." And lihan dropped kick the demon. The two didn't spaced out, Edward requested one more riddles. The demon felt fear and spoke, "It's runs with no feet and it screams with no mouth, what is it?..". Lihan charged up his aether fist ready for his final blow, Edward said "Sea waves.". Lihan punches the demons stomach, with a powerful pressure it's back exploded. Edward pats lihans shoulders complimenting his performance. Lihan absorbs it's essence turning it into a glowing red meatball again. Lihan swallowed it without wasting any time, once he was done, he gets another mental attack. He grabs his head that was aching but it was unusual than before. His nose bleeds and his eyes was tearing blood, it was hard for lihan to absorb a red code demon. He collapses while his eye were wide open and he can only see a bright light. After hours of being out, lihan wakes up seeing Seia on her side keeping an eye on her. He was in the medical base of the silver wolves. The two looked at eachother awkwardly and lihan makes his first move of talking.
