Sins, Virtues, and Vices, every being has them. Some are easily influenced by them while others are not. Some lean towards sin, while the others towards vices or virtues. We all have them to some extent but it is up to us to decide which one to choose.
Or it is at least that is the case for humans. GOD made them with the ability to choose them, while the Devils, Fallen, and Angels were born with one of them. For the devils it was sin, for fallen it was vice and for angels it was virtue.
We do not have the right to choose our alignment, they were decided for us at our birth. Every Angel is born with a virtue and they have to carry it for eternity. And if they somehow lose it… they turn into fallens.
Angels are literally the most tragic race. If they lean towards a sin or vice they fall, if they have an unhealthy thought they fall, and even if they feel jealousy… they might fall. Both humans and angels are creations of GOD yet they both are different to say the least. Humans have the freedom none of the other races have yet they are still not satisfied.
It does make sense that the other races hate humans.
But you might be wondering where I am going with this. It's about my sin… or sins.
Most beings have only one sin, vice, or virtue. But I have two. They are 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝘆 and 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱.
I realized this long ago that these sins were affecting me and my personality. Sometimes they made me take rash decisions, which I regret. At least I can control them to a certain extent now but not perfectly 'yet.'
I have knowledge about the 'Dragon of Infinity' and the 'Dragon of Dragons' as well as the… 'Beast of the Apocalypse' to a certain extent, as it was something I was born with.
I envied them. I envy that they were born with a power that I am not even sure if I can ever achieve. I envied the Crimson Devil and the limitless demonic power he was born with.
And for greed... Similar to envy, my greed is for power. I want power at almost any cost and sometimes I had to pay for my greed dearly.
I trained… I trained beyond my limits in the hope of bypassing the limiters which had me in bed for days. I am greedy. I want all the power I can think of. But...

.
.
I can't let this greed stray me from my path. I will have to find a way to control it.
At least there is one positive thing about my sins. That is I have envy and greed and not any other of the seven sins. These sins make me thrive for more power, make me work and look for ways to obtain them. They give me motivation to work and find ways to find loopholes in the power system.
But if I had sin combinations like greed and sloth, pride and lust, envy and lust, or any other combination. It would have been disastrous. Think of having pride and lust. These two sins will force a devil to make a move on a woman who is out of their reach while the pride won't let them give up. And in the end, it will result in their death.
I am actually happy with my sins, ironic to say the least… but I indeed am.
[At the Beelzebub Lab]
"Lord Beelzebub is waiting for you at the lab." Said one of the assistants.
Funny considering the entire building is a lab… So where exactly is he waiting?
But I did not have to worry about that as the green-haired devil was waiting for us in the hallway. We went towards him but Layla decided to stay outside despite both mine and my mother's request.
"Welcome Lady Seere." He said while putting on a humble smile… but it looked fake. He needs to improve his acting skills.
She gave a nod. "We are not late right?"
"Ah no. We just completed the preparations and Lord Zekram got here just a few moments ago as well."
Zekram Bael, now that's a name that I didn't expect to hear. Why is he here? Is it because of his connection to our pillars? That seems to be the most reasonable reason. He was one of the only few devils that supported my grandfather during that entire "Morningstar Starfall" fiasco.
"Oh, he is here? Then we shouldn't keep him waiting." She said with a genuine smile unlike Beelzebub.
After the seed tattoo sprouted the first root, it allowed me to sense emotions and feelings to a certain extent. I am not sure how but it just allows me to sense emotions.
But I am still quite surprised that the devil who is known to appear in public only when it is extremely necessary is present here? And mother doesn't sound that surprised about his presence? I still know very little about my family history.
Something I need to check in the future.
.

.
We walked down the stairway to find a massive pillar made of glass with ever-changing colors.
But what caught my eye next was a certain middle-aged man standing next to it. He had black hair combed neatly with purple eyes which gave him a handsome gentleman look.
And if I am correct, he is Zekram Bael. He looks exactly how my father described him to be.
"Lord Zekram." My mother called out his name confirming my doubts.
The old devil looked towards us and a smile instantly blooms in his face.
"Selene. It has been a long time since we last met." He said with a grandfatherly smile which was ironic because he barely looked middle-aged.
He walked towards us before looking towards me. "This little one must be Shisui. Am I correct?"
"Yes, Lord Zekram." I gave him a polite bow.
"No need to be so polite, little one. I have been friends with your pillar for generations." He said before flashing a pained look. "Me and your grandfather were the best of friends before he passed away."
"Lord Zekram… Solas said that it was not your fault." Mother tried to console him with her words.
His fault? What am I missing here?
"But that doesn't mean I can forgive myself that easily." He mumbled.
"*Cough* Maybe we should talk about this later. We need to get this little guy his pieces." Ajuka said trying to change the topic.
"Ah, yes. Forgive me, little one. You must be extremely enthusiastic about receiving your evil pieces." He said with a laugh.
"Now everyone I want you all to step aside a bit. And Shisui, stand in front of the glass pillar."
I nodded and followed his instructions.
"Now place your hand on it and push as much demonic power inside of it as you can."
Again I nodded and did what he said. And after ten seconds the pillar glowed white while forming a box of demonic power, which I was able to see through the glass.
It was taking a few moments for the box to form, so I turned my head around to find my mother smiling at me. I smiled back.
But when I looked at Ajuka and Zekram, I got confused. One had a look of curiosity and surprise while the other had a completely surprised expression.
I couldn't think about it much as I felt the pillar sucking my demonic power at a rapid pace.
[PoV: Ajuka]
I didn't have much expectations from this kid, after all even Serafall's and Sirzechs's little sisters didn't get any special mutated piece. But never did I expect this kid to have such complex demonic power.
The more complex or pure a devil's power is, the lighter the shade of demonic essence they have. Sirzechs's power is red but his demonic essence is grey just like mine.
But this kid… has pure white demonic power. What does that mean?
[PoV: Zekram]
Impossible! I have seen countless devils getting their pieces and never in my entire life... have I seen someone with this pure demonic power.
The only devil I knew who had pure white demonic essence was… Father, Lucifer Samael Morningstar.
But why does this kid have the same essence?
[PoV: Selene]
Such pretty colors.
[PoV: Shisui]
*Ughh* Is this process supposed to be this power consuming? I never expected myself to almost run dry of demonic power. And I have a lot of demonic power for someone my age.
After a short while, the box of demonic energy manifested in front of me. It had the inner crest of Seere with the outer crest of Caim. Probably because of my 'inheritance' something to explain later.
"Do you want to open it now." Came the voice of my mother.
"Yes." I was quite excited to see my evil pieces. I almost opened it right that instant but Ajuka stopped me.
"Don't." He said. "Let us go to the guest room, you should open it there."
I agreed to that and all of us went to the guest room.
"Do you know anything about the white demonic essence?" Ajuka asked, while Zekram preferred to stay silent.
Huh? Was that white color special?
I shook my head.
"I see. Well, what are you waiting for, open it." He said, letting out a laugh.
"Yes." Zekram finally decided to speak. "After all, you seem to have been waiting for this for quite a while now."
While my mother just smiled.
Nodding at them, I tried to open the box but couldn't find any section from which it opened.
"You just need to force a tiny amount of demonic power to open it." Ajuka instructed.
Doing as said, I used a bit of my demonic power and the box clicked open.
It opened revealing a set of beautiful white pieces. All the pieces looked normal excluding a knight, a rook and two pawns. They had red lines running around them in a swirling pattern.
"F-Four mutated pieces!" Came the shocked voice of my mother while Ajuka and Zekram looked at me like some kind of monster.
"Did the piece generator have some sort of problem." Ajuka mumbled.
"Kid… What exactly are you?" While Zekram asked with a raised eyebrow.
