this is my first time writing a fan fic but I will try my best to make it an interesting read

I just wanted to clarify in this aux chapter that I plan on doing this story in this world in my way. he won't follow the path of the original the entire time but to start it will be similar that's just so he can get the original meeting with Catherine. other than that he will be using his future knowledge to abuse a lot of things like Blood fall and knowing about the silver cases and such.

the " system " that MC will have will be similar to the original story but also have some key differences to go with the devil theme. he will gain devil traits from doing certain actions and also from ranking up. but I don't plan to have him have like 30 of them or anything crazy. it will mainly be a handful of strong traits with some other supportive traits. so I will focus on going in-depth on a few traits and have a few to support in various ways.

My plan for the MC to gain power and not leave behind his harem will be a big thing for me. I didn't like how the original was regarding how the harem was super weak compared to mc late game. like there are points in time where the mc does some pretty loophole stuff to gain power. and also the same with his enemies like they would just use some " secret technique". I plan to have them steadily grow along the story so there not useless and liability later in the story. like Athena fell off hard and became just lord of Darkmoon and got forgotten except as an emotional pillar to the mc. shea never got the love I thought she would get and it disappointed me. like all the build-up for it to be pretty tame and not all that interesting of a relationship. those are just a few examples I also am going to make kia a way bigger role but that's to be seen.

also, the harem will be mostly the same but adding a few more like Delia and Krobelus. why go for those two when they were fine in the original? because I hate roman I find him to be a true scum bag and a coward for all the talk about how much he loves Delia. He left because his dad was taken hostage and he didn't want Delia to get hurt, but when he was dead and knew he was dead, he still stayed gone. and just went around NTRing people. on the other hand Paglio, I like a lot he's a cool friend to the mc and I plan to keep it that way. so why am I stealing his girl for mc is for multiple reasons. I don't want to spoil too much of my plans but I think it will be better for Paglio he will get to keep his treasure and also will be freer to go loot and play around yet still retain the character development of the original story had.
