More than halfway to magic circle advanced, should probably save for that before getting the cheaper options and then go for tier up. there is still a lot to try with the two new traits gained like trying out what kind of toxins I can make. also, the dragon form may be a good way to hide my identity for a bit but it doesn't make me look that different just adds dragon features and a dragon aura, if someone saw me normally and with Bune activated they could tell it's me.

"So did that work for you?" Paglio is pretty chill now it seems.

"A bit just not in the way I was planning, I wanted to use the poison in the lake to gain more but instead it worked out differently. I can't complain about the results though the dragon aspect is going to come in handy." I couldn't gain Sin from poison after gaining the Stolas trait but there was still a lot of sin trapped in the lake. I should try to fly around sometime and look for 'hot spots' and might find something interesting.

"Don't go around advertising being a dragon it will bring you nothing but trouble. hunters will want to kill you and older dragons will assume you are some runaway hatchling and either try to rob you or send you to dragon island." pulling out the remaining wine I hand it over to my poor trapped companion.

"I won't, I plan on coming back soon to get some training though I need to learn how to use some of my abilities in a fight and also how to judge people's powers better. also, you said something about a dragon language so there's that." popping a bottle and downing it in one go he sighs.

"You will need to know the dragon scripts to be able to enter my treasure without self-detonating it. also when you come back to bring some more food and wine. I will wake up the feisty one and tell her that they are poisoned with a slow death poison and you have to come to get the antidote from me once a week or they will die and if she rats out then they will die." a bit messed up to manipulate Athena like this but I guess I can do my best to make it up to her. plus she will get poison immunity from his pearl or whatever it was and I can get her a Devil fruit to make it up to her. with a wave of Paglio's hand Athena begins to stir and blinks a few times before jumping up and looking around. seeing Alice sleeping she sighs before looking at me and Paglio. "Girl don't get any Ideas, I am sending my helper back while he grows up a bit more so he can go retrieve some things for me so I can leave this place. I have left a poison in you and the others if he doesn't come back once a week to get the antidote then you will all die horrible deaths so you better keep your mouth shut till I am free and I will cure you for good as a reward for your silence." Athena looks horrified and looks at Alice with a sad look then looks back and nods.

"Ok master Paglio hand me the first cure and I will be back in a week for more and I will look into the matters you told me about." Paglio looks at me with sharp eyes before handing me three green smooth pearls.

"Here." he says through grit teeth. "remember to bring good food and drink back with you." he turns and disappears. I turn and look at Athena and hand her one of the pearls, she stares at it for a bit then sighs and eats it.

*Cough cough cough * quickly patting her back and handing her a water skin she chugs it.

"It's going to be * Cough * hard to get Alice to eat something so spicy." remembering Alice is coming to my place later to eat ice cream I just shrug.

"She's coming to my house to eat ice cream so I can just make some Stew or soup and have it in her bowl. that or we could try to feed it to her now while she is still unconscious." She thinks about it for a bit then shakes her head.

"It will be better to get her to eat it later, she is already going to be asking a lot of questions about the situation we are in. If her mouth is full of a taste she doesn't like she might throw a fit." Athena walks over to Alice and stuffs all the picnic stuff in her bracelet then picks her up. and begins to carry her to her rhino but pauses to look back at me. "Grab Kia and bring her with you so we can leave the faster we get out of here the better I will feel." looking down at the spy essence sucking succubus I pray that this doesn't turn into some cliché event where she wakes up and gets the wrong idea and then hates me. leaning down and hoisting her up in a princess carry I begin to walk toward the rhinos to see Athena looking at me with an amused look then bursts out laughing.

"What's so funny?"

"You talked to that Dragon like he was just some ordinary market worker, but your face looks so sour holding Kia like that. someone might get the wrong idea if you act like that around beautiful girls." knowing it won't help to explain but still feeling the urge to try.

"It's not like that, I don't know her and she might get the wrong idea if she were to wake up right now."

"And what idea would that be sir Nova?" hearing a voice close to my ear I feel the urge to drop her on her ass but refrain. she was out when I picked her up but now she wraps her hands around my neck.

"The idea I am making a move or something when I am simply helping you back." Kia giggles and draws circles over my chest sending a chill up my back as she whispers in my ear.

"Well I don't mind all that much sir Nova, but could I ride with you? my legs feel numb I don't think I will be able to ride back without falling off." she bats her eyes and gives a pitiful look and before I can respond I hear Athena snort and slap the other rhinos and begin to ride off leaving only one with me and Kia. not sure if I should curse or praise Athena for being a wingman or dooming me to the teasing maid. "ah, it seems Athena is in a rush we should hurry up or we will be left behind." she puts her hand on her cheek and watches as Athena rides off.

"Whatever." not knowing how to climb up with her in my arms and her holding so tight to my neck I simply jump onto the backside of the rhino then walk up to the saddle and plop down. Kia's eyes go wide at my mounting then starts laughing.

"Well that's one way to do it I guess." grabbing the reins by having one hand go behind her back and the other over her legs I pull back and the rhino turns around and begins to chase after the others. pretty convenient that this guy is smart enough to figure out to follow the others.

"Are you alright?" I ask to not be rude. she said her legs were numb I hope she doesn't figure out that somehow she was knocked out by poisons. I mean wouldn't any girl be worried about waking up in some dude's arms after randomly losing consciousness? seemingly unaffected by the situation she smiles and nods and looks over to Athena who we have caught up to and smiles at her as well. Athena glancing over rolls her eyes but then Kia seems to notice something.

"Athena where did your sword go?" Athena looks forward then looks a bit sad and answers back.

"I tried to knock down a big bird but used too much strength and it flew into the blue lake." laughing a bit at the thought Athena shoots a glare at me and I just whistle and look forward. Kia seeing our little skit looks a little more convinced. feeling Kia shift and get comfortable and lean back into me while setting her head in the crook of my neck I am not sure how to feel about this. on one hand, I know for a fact she doesn't mean anyone harm she's just forced into a shit situation and is a slave that can't resist their orders to spy on the dark moon. but on the other hand, this isn't a game I could be killed if she tells someone something that catches their interest. I don't know how I died or how I got put in this body in the first place but I am not trying my luck and getting killed for all I know its lights out for good. but even still I can't help but feel bad for her knowing they have her mom and also a literal chain tied to her soul forcing her to do things against her will. if she didn't have the devour physique she most likely would have been used as some sex tool as stated by herself which must be a horrible feeling. I will do the best I can when I get the chance to help her and save her mom but I won't be trying that till after I have freed Paglio and restored his power. her mom should be in that estate where the lady that has soul shackles on them lives as a cover pretending to be married to the lord or an alchemy master or something. that or if I can get Catherine on my side we can raid the crystal valley and recover the ancient runes slates. speaking of Catherine if I can duplicate the situation of meeting her I could maybe convince her to reincarnate as a devil and make her my ally. would be a very hard task to pull off but would have huge benefits and I could use my knowledge to take a huge portion of the dark shadow empire's economy. the only problem with that is I don't have the aura fruit that made her pounce on Chen Rui. maybe I could use my garden to take the devil pomeg and grow more and use them as a bargaining chip. will musing to myself about future problems and enjoying the warmth from Kia I hear Alice start to stir and look over.

"Athena? where are we did we already leave the lake?" she wakes up and yawns and begins firing off questions, truly an energetic person.

"Yes Alice, we left you feel asleep if you're going to nap the whole time you should have just stayed home and lazed around." Alice shakes herself denying it.

"Athena I can't stay home all the time I will go crazy Even when I run the princess retail story I still feel so cramped I need to get out and breathe, I feel so refreshed now." smiling at Alice's enthusiasm Athena just shakes her head and looks over at me with a sad look probably thinking about some deadly poison in the poor princess. I do feel bad about not telling her but I need to know her better before I put my life in her hands. Alice turns over to see two empty rhinos to her left and raises an eyebrow before whipping her head toward me and Kia and has a look of disbelief, then her lips curve up into a feral grin and I know she's about to tease the hell out of me so I interrupt her.

"What is princess retail store?" Alice looks like she is having none of my misdirection but saving the day Kia speaks up, probably so she also doesn't get teased.

"It's a store that lord Shea used to auction off a lot of her items to keep dark moon running and she later gave it to Alice. Alice uses it to make her own pocket money which she gives most to Shea." the princess puts on a face of indignation.

"I don't give it to her she takes it from me and I can't even do anything about it!" Kia shakes her head.

"You always tell her when you make a big sell and rub it in her face, you know she will take it you just want to help your big sister." Kia has a bright smile and Athena giggles while Alice throws a fit and blushes.

"I could help you make some cool items to sell if you want. I would like a percent of the proceeds though."

"Sure let's talk about it when we eat ice cream!"
