Black herbs

"Come behind me," He ordered the maids and followed the scent that took him to the garden.

Isabella and Akalia didn't notice how far they had gone while talking and following the streak of the flowers when they heard him clearing his throat behind them.

"Uhhh," Xavier started nervously upon being gazed at by two pairs of huge eyes. "They brought your breakfast." He gestured towards the maids and smiled back at the kid who was smiling brightly at him. He averted Isabella's eyes however.

"I don't wanna go back to that room, mom." Akalia looked at her mother and before she could have said anything, Xavier spoke.

"We have an eating spot here in the garden."

"Can we eat there?" The kid looked at her mother once again who was looking at Xavier.

"Sure," she said.

They followed Xavier to the eating spot he had mentioned earlier. It was a beautiful spot with white sitting chairs and a table shaded by a doom of flower vines above it.
