"The strength of the mutated beasts was enough to send deviants running and even a superpower like the united states was reduced to three states… New York, Los Angeles and Washington, D.C…" An aged man dressed in a black tuxedo said.
"Hmph! Those deviants were weak But there is no need to worry, the new generation of deviants are more capable" The red-haired youth said.
He wore a black shirt, red trousers, and a red jacket. His hair was pushed back and tied into a ponytail while his most eye catching feature is his bright red eyes and razor sharp teeth. This was the same person he sent his thugs to beat Chucky up and take all the cash on him. Alex shot him a glance and gave him the usual nod before turning his returning his attention to the history lecturer and saying.
"Whatever is written in that textbook fails to mention how humans were sent to their deaths by the deviants… It also failed to mention how much the powerless humans contributed just to keep those three cities safe… It failed to mention how the country dumped the poor in Los Angeles, the middle class in New York, and the wealthy in Washington, D.C… This stupid move has created social classes and brought about discrimination and slavery… Old practices which I thought we have outgrown… people treated like animals and giving the deviants the opportunities to act the way they wish…" Alex said while shooting the injured Chucky a glance.
His friend has a bloodied face, a swollen left eye but everyone present kept acting like he doesn't exist. Not just him but there are others like him in the class too, bullied and injured but since they know the deviants are responsible, they all turn a blind eye. Alex is no fighter of justice or defender of truth but at the very least, he expects people around him to behave properly.
"Let us move to the next chapter" The History lecturer ignored his words and flipped the pages as nothing happened.
Bam!
"No, I believe we address this issue now!" The red haired youth growled as he slammed his fist on his locker and jumped on his feet.
In response, the history lecturer nodded and remained silent. Under the watchful gaze of other students, everyone watched the red haired youth walk over to Alex's seat with a murderous look on his face.
"What did you just say punk? Do you have a problem with deviants like me?" Blaze said with a threatening look on his face but Alex was unfazed by this.
"I said, people like you are the reason the world is as messed up as it is… You bully the weak and act badass… Grow up kid, there is more to life than piercing your ears and nostrils…" Alex said fearlessly, leaving everyone stunned.
While there are other deviants in the class, they chose not to get involved since they assumed blaze would be able to deal with the issue, apart from them, the other powerless humans remained silent, mostly because they were scared. None of them thought that a day would come when a powerless human would talk back to a deviant.
"Hahahaha! I also avoided you because of the respect I had for your family but now you can just die!" Blaze growled as his hands were consumed by scorching orange flames but before he could even lift his hands something unexpected happened.
Something that will be remembered for decades to come!
Bam!
Alex threw a swift kick aimed at the back of his knee, forcing him to fall on his knees. Before he could even let out a painful cry, everyone saw Alex grip his head tightly and ram it into his desk, shattering it with great force.
Bang!
"A deviant at your level cannot win against me…. At least not with such sloppy movements and a weak body" Alex said with a face lacking any form of emotion.
Everyone watched as blood flowed out of the skull of the unconscious Blaze and they couldn't even speak up. The History lecturer and the other students were too tongue-tied to act on time. They were all prepared to beg Blaze not to kill Alex, but instead, Alex was the one standing. Only now did they remember that Alex Briggs is the only child born into the Briggs family! It was only natural he's this skilled.
"S-someone get him to the nurse! Alex, to the Dean's office now!"
.....................…..
"I can't believe you did that to a deviant, what if their family was more influential than ours?" Tracy Briggs complained as they walked out of the school building with Alex following behind.
She wore a military camo, a camo cap that hid her jet back hair, and black boots. Even in her uniform, Tracy was a stunner, attracting the attention of many and on numerous occasions, more influential families in the U.S have tried to woo her over with benefits but her love for her family was strong enough for her to overlook all that.
"I just put a scumbag in his place, is see no reason for you to be too worried…" Alex answered coldly.
Boom!
Tracy was about to rebuke her son but then an explosion occurred as a man directly smashed into one of the vehicles in the parking lot, not too far from them.
Bright orange flames lit up the entire parking lot as a huge figure dressed in a black tuxedo walked out. He was bald but had bushy eyebrows and beards with a funny looking circular eye. Alex and Tracy knew who this man is, a well-known deviant responsible for the death of many deviants and Innocent powerless humans.
Mr. Blade…
'Why is he here? It looks more like he was thrown over here… Is he fighting a guardian? What do we do?'
Countless questions raced through Alex's mind as he considered what next to do.
