18. PARTY. part 1

PARTY.

Se-hee opened the door to the house and looked inside. There was no sign of anyone. She closed the door behind her just then Sung-hoon walked down the stairs looking at his phone.

It had already been two months since that night and he had finished filming his movies. Se-hee had told him that a friend of hers was hosting a party and invited her she took it upon herself to invite Sung-hoon however despite protests she would not fold and told him she would pick him up later.

She wanted him to mingle with as much people as possible. Since Lee was a high profile figure there was bound to be some big stars and she didn't want him to miss it. She had asked him plenty of times if there was anyone he wanted to meet in a bid to persuade him but he blatantly refused her offer.

He argued that he had just finished shooting his movies and he needed some rest. She however, used the same argument against him and told him since he had worked so hard he needed some rest. In the end they left it as an open discussion making him think he had won but se-hee was quite resilient and would not give up easily.

Se-hee cleared her throat making Sung-hoon aware of her presence as she folded her arm together.

Sung-hoon let out a groan as soon as he saw her. He turned back on the stairs ready to run up and lock himself up for the rest of the night.

"Don't even think about it." She said making him halt in his steps.

He let out a long sigh as he turned back slowly with a smile etched on his lips.

"I told you I didn't want to go." He said as he walked towards the kitchen and placed the cup he had been holding in the sink.

"You are a fun person why not go have fun." She said a big smile on her face as she walked towards him. She leaned on the counter as she looked at him with pleading eyes.

"I don't drink." He deadpanned thinking it would throw her off but she had expected it.

"There are other things to do other than drinking." She said walking behind him as he walked towards the stairs.

"I don't do drugs either." He said not sparing her a glance. She run in front of him before he could climb the stairs blocking his path.

"Come on I don't want to go alone." She said her voice melting like caramel in his ears.

Hearing this his resolve broke. By her words she wanted to have fun and needed him there to make sure she was fine.

"Fine." He said with a sigh. She jumped up and down as she let him pass.

He got dressed in baggy blue jeans white sports shoes and a black and white shirt which he tucked in the front leaving the back free. He wore a beanie which made his sharp handsome features even more defined.

She drove them towards the outskirts of the city before going on a smaller path towards a more secluded area. They stopped at the gate where she scanned a card and the gate opened. She drove inside. Sung-hoon was highly alert with what was happening. He didn't expect that the friend she had mentioned had such a high profile but he should have already figured it out considering her status.

They finally stopped at a large parking lot where numerous cars had already parked. There was loud music coming from the house. As they got out of the car the strong night breeze hit them but unlike any other day it was warm.

Sung-hoon's eyes diverted towards the house if he could call it that. It was a large mansion that would fit in three houses of the one he was currently staying at.

"Whose party is it?" He asked as they walked towards the entrance.

"His name is Lee he can be a dick but don't worry to much." She said as an attendant opened the door and immediately a waitress was standing in front of them with drinks.

Se-hee took one and walked past her. Her heels hit the marble floors clicking against it.

Sung-hoon shook his head no before murmuring a thank you and followed behind Se-hee as they walked past a small crowd of people who looked at her before whispering while paying Sung-hoon no mind.

They finally got outside where the party was being held. She stood at the steps for a while as she looked around for something or rather someone.

As soon as she spotted him she waved her hands as s smile formed on her lips. Sung-hoon looked at the direction which she was waving at. The person she was waving at was non other than Jae-wook.

He felt like turning around and leaving but his feet were rooted to the ground and on top of that Se-hee locked her arms with his pulling him towards the corner.

There were quite a number of people at the seat. But Sung-hoon only recognised Ten, Grey and Way from watching way too much Re-draft content.

In the past two months none of them made an effort to contact each other. Sung-hoon had tried once but chickened out in the end. He didn't know what he would say or even what reason he would have for calling. He didn't even know why he wanted to call. He though that Jae-wook would be too busy and there was no need to burden him so he put it off until now.

Now Se-hee had shoved him to the person he least and most wanted to see. He didn't have any particular reason for wanting to meet him.

Maybe to thank him. Despite the fact that the sex was great and to some extent helped him get his feelings in check he had been able to overcome some boundaries that had been limiting him. They didn't heal his wounds completely but at least when he shot the intimate scenes he wasn't as disgusted by himself.

"Se-hee you came." Lee said drawing peoples attention to them as he stood up and walked towards Se-hee.

"I see you brought a friend." He said hugging Se-hee as he sipped his gin while looking at Sung-hoon.

There was something in the way he looked at him that made Sung-hoon feel uncomfortable.

"Hello. My name if Sung-hoon. " Sung-hoon shoved the feeling down and stretched out his hand for a handshake assuming they were almost the same age.

Lee looked at his hand and looked up at him his face holding a grin. Sung-hoon stood in that position for a while as an awkward air rore between them but Lee gave off a loud laughter before holding his hand and shaking it.

"Any friend of Se-hee is mine as well. Come on." He said wrapping his hand around his neck before leading him towards the u shaped couch.

Everyone was silently looking at their interaction as Lee sat him between himself and Jae-wook. Se-hee sat on the other side of Ten as she poured herself some wine.

"Let's party!!!!!" She shouted holding up the bottle of wine. Everyone shouted as the DJ increased the volume and everyone else resumed to their merry apart from the secluded table.

"Ten!" Se-hee said hugging him and she hugged his back. "It's been so long." She said with a pout. Ten laughed at her antiques as they continued with a conversation as if they were old time friends.

Sung-hoon on the other hand was having a far from great night his hands were shaking and his legs were shaking nervously.

Lee poured some drinks mixing them in a glass before he handed it to Sung-hoon. All this while Jae-wook hadn't said anything.

"I don't drink." Sung-hoon stated with a nervous smile.

"Why did you come then." One of Lee's pose cut in before laughing loudly.

Sung-hoon's eyes drifted to Se-hee who was busy engaging in a heated conversation with Ten and Way.

Lee followed his eyes and shook his head in acceptance.

Jae-wook also followed his line of sight his eyes landing on Se-hee. He felt a blunt dull ache fill his chest.

He had the tiniest of thought that Sung-hoon would look ta him but it wasn't him.

He gulped down the whole of the glass in his hand which didn't go unnoticed by Lee.

Jae-wook suddenly stood up without a word and walked towards the main house.

Se-hee looked ta him confused but didn't say anything as she went back to her conversation.

A waitress came by holding a couple of drinks. She knelt down and started arranging the large number of drink and replacing them.

However, her expression was uncomfortable as she tried to continue with her assigned task.

Sung-hoon noticed this and leaned forward.

"Are you okay?" He asked in a low tone.

Lee leaned back on the chair watching him as he waited for whatever was to happen unfold.

He continued sipping his drink unbothered by the situation.

The waitress nodded slightly but it was unconvincing.

Sung-hoon's eyes diverted to her body and he finally saw it. The man who had previously mocked him about not drinking was pulling up her skirt caressing her thigh so carefree like her owned her. He looked at Sung-hoon a smirk on his face as his hand continued up her tigh.

"Why don't you leave first. " Sung-hoon told the waitress a bit louder getting the attention of those around the table.

"I am fine." The waitress said with a nervous laugh as she tried to brush it off.

Suddenly Sung-hoon stood up at such speed that it shocked those around them. He grabbed the man's hand and pinned it on the couch.

"You can leave." He said once again his tone a bit more stern yet gentle. The waitress quickly got up and quickly walked away from the table.

No one had noticed the alteration yet aside from those around the table.

"What's going on?" Se-hee asked her tone a bit tipsy but she was aware of what was going on.

They sat in silence.

Despite the uncomfortable silence Lee was enjoying himself and was sipping his drink as if he was watching entertainment.

"Let go of my hand." The man said cockily as a smirk formed on his face. "Before I sue you." He added.

Sung-hoon stayed silent as his grip on the man's hand tightened making him wince a little.

"Do you know who my parents are one called and you are dead." He threatened.

"Well I hope they are able to go visit you in jail for sexual harassment. "

"She won't sue." He said shrugging his shoulders. "If she does I trumple her like the roach she is."

Sung-hoon could feel his anger rise with every word he spewed.

"In fact I can have if I want she will willingly give herself to me." He added.

Feeling it was enough Sung-hoon rose his fisted hand ready to hit him when he felt a hand grab onto him and before he could process what was going on he was pulled from the couch and through the clueless crowd his breath still heavy with anger.

"You are a bitch." Se-hee said standing up she grabbed her glass and poured the remaining alcohol on him.

He looked at her shocked anger blinding him.

Just as he was about to grab a hold of her and shove her down a voice said on the side.

"Don't you even think about it." Lee said glaring at him.

The man breathed heavily in anger as he retracted his actions and se-hee stormed off.

"Go with her." Lee said to Way. Way nodded his head and followed behind Se-hee.

He ordered the other man to leave along with his posse and soon it was just Lee and Ten.

"Well that was fun." He said pouring himself more gin.
