My journey to find the Demon King has begun, though I honestly have no idea where he is or what he looks like. Does he have a fearsome visage and an imposing figure? I lack any information. However, I do have one traveling companion who can guide me to the Demon King.

"Release me!"

In the distance, I hear a woman screaming, as if she's in trouble. But I didn't want to get too involved in this world. After all, I was brought here against my will and forced into a battle against the Demon King. I didn't want to become entangled in the world's affairs.

However, my heart remained human. I couldn't allow a woman to scream for help like this. I had no choice but to approach the source of the sound and assess the situation.

It appears to be on my left, roughly about 100 meters away.

"Wow, what an unpleasant sight."

As I approach, I see a woman being held by four men, while six others are preparing to commit unspeakable acts.

"There's no choice; I have to help her."

I casually walk towards them and greet them.

"Good day, everyone. What are you doing here?"

"Huh?! How can there be a kid in this forest?!"

"I'm not a kid; I'm a teenager."

"We don't care! Get out of here!"

"But it seems the lady over there needs help."

The woman is wearing a hoodie, covering her face, but I can see her red lips. She's quite beautiful.

"Help me! They want to assault me!"

"Shut up, you wench!"

I swiftly swing my hand, severing one of the men's grip on the woman. The man whose hand was cut off looks terrified.

"AAAA!!! My hand!"

"So, how about it, gentlemen? Can you release the woman? Assaulting a woman is a despicable act. As a decent human being, I can't let it happen. Consider your friend's severed hand as atonement."

"You brat! Let's kill this arrogant kid!"

They quickly approach me, wielding their weapons. Some even have rifles, as it seems that long-barreled firearms have been discovered in this world.

"Unique Skill: Eternal Illusion!"

I didn't want to engage in a futile battle, especially since they numbered ten to my one. I reluctantly decided to use my unique skills. They're now trapped in my illusion, attacking each other like a group of foolish monkeys.

I quickly walk over to the woman and assist her.

"Are you okay, miss?"

"I'm fine. Thank you for your help."

"You're welcome. We should leave this place as soon as possible. My illusion magic can only hold them for ten minutes. I'll make sure you're safe, miss."

"Thank you, sir. You're very kind."

Casually, we walk past the still-battling men.

"It seems we're far enough from them now. My name is Akira. What's your name, miss?"

"My name is Jeany."

After she mentions her name, she lowers her hood and reveals her face.

"I'm a half-demon, a succubus. My father was a human, and my mother was a succubus."

A succubus, a legendary demon known for seducing men and draining their life energy until they die. I never thought I'd meet such a mythical creature in this world.

"So, in other words, you're a half-succubus."

"That's correct. Being someone with succubus blood, my body emits an aroma that can attract men to my body. But... I'm not a promiscuous person!"

She said it loudly while moving her face closer to mine.

She looked very pleased. At the same time, I noticed a thin, long, black tail with a heart-shaped tip, as well as horns emerging from her head.

"Listen, I'm still not sure if I am the Demon King. There's so much I don't know about this world. There could be another candidate out there. At the very least, I don't want to become the Demon King, especially since I still have the status of a hero on my power level chart. Jeany appears moved by my words. It's no wonder she reacted this way. While I detest King Alexander DragonLord, I don't hold any grudge against other humans. Moreover, I don't want to become the Demon King. My initial goal has changed.
