Cean was finding it difficult to go see his mate, the doctor told him his mate was awake but he was not ready to face her yet. He just sent for the doctor and his beta, his mate was going through a process they did not just understand so he wants to lay everything down and try to figure everything out. She was seriously injured this time around and he wished he could stop the challenge, he could not believe he was indirectly hurting his mate, what others did not know was that, every punch or mark that his mate had taken, he actually felt every one of them. He gave this law thinking he was training his mate for what’s coming, to prepare her to be his reservoir but his mate is hurting and he could not take back his words for they are law. He heard a knock and he kept the ancient scroll he was reading.

“Come in”. the doctor and beta came in and gave a deep bow.

“Come off it you both”. He rolled his eyes. “We are alone and am calm now”, he said that specifically for the doctor’s sake, because he knew how he threatened the doctor’s life when his mate was bleeding and not clotting. “I want us to analyze what’s going on now and give me your views”. He turned to the doctor “your healing abilities have been passed down from generations, so I would like to know if any kind of stuff have been recorded in one of your archives”.

Timron saw how worried his friend and decided to take the lead.

“First of all, and the most important is that she’s a white wolf, second she phases, something only the alpha can do and please correct me if am wrong, she tapped into the energy of the earth or what could we call her breaking Athena’s leg as if it was an ordinary stick, something only the alpha and I can do”

“Her cell and metabolism changed when she took your blood”. The doctor chipped in.

“That was why you were invited doctor, is there any information I can get concerning this change you are talking about? any passed down knowledge from your ancestors”.

“Unfortunately, sir, I have non to give you now and am still monitoring her vitals and metabolism but may I suggest someone who will certainly give you a head way?”.

“Am open to any suggestion doctor, this is my mate we are talking about”.

“The seer Larima”.

“NO”. The alpha gave an absolute answer

“Thank you for your suggestion doctor, you may live”. Timron had to dismiss the doctor so as to reason with his friend, he turned to Cean, “look bro, I understand why you want to have anything to do with the seers and you have ignored their sects for years now and they have not complained, they made a mistake once, they apologized and for the sake of your mate let it go”.

“Timron, their mistake caused the death of my father, my mother remains broken till this day, what am I saying, she’s practically dead and you want me to trust what ever they are going to say about my mate?”.

“Yes, I want you to trust them, they have been doing everything to get back the respect they lost, please, you have ruled without a seer by your side and that alone is wrong right from the ancient times”.

“Are you now questioning my ability to rule and take care of my people? I cherish your opinion brother but do not cross the line”.

“Am sorry”. Timron gave a deep bow, “You know me brother, respect is the only thing I have for you, I can follow you with my eyes tied and will not regret where ever you lead me, but whenever my brother, my friend, needs to hear the right thing, I must be here to provide that regardless of your reaction, that’s why am your beta, I am the only person that can take a punch from you and survive it, so I will say it to you again, you need to hear from the seer”.

“I hate it when you make too much sense brother”. The alpha smiled, he will always respect whatever his friend Timron says. “Fine prepare everything necessary, we will be visiting their sect this evening”.

“I know I have crossed many lines today but permit me to cross more lines sir, please go see your mate bro, my mate said she has been looking out for you even when she pretends that she doesn’t care”.

“I will certainly do that brother, just prepare everything necessary for our journey including gifts”.

Timron left immediately to prepare, while he took five minutes to prepare what he will say to his mate before living.

He walked down to his mate room and heard voices, his mate was laughing loudly and he felt sad that she was not like that with him and he accepts that he caused it, he made her that way. He stood at the door and listened a little more to her laughter before he knocked. He heard a come in, they did not know he was the one because he masked, he scents, so he went in and everywhere became totally silent. Timron’s mate went down on her kneels in acknowledgement but his mate sat down comfortably and ignored him, he almost smiled only her can do that and get away with that lack of respect.

“Stand little sister, please give I and my mate a moment.

“Well, I want her here”. Rowen replied tartly to him.

“I will live sir”. Timron’s mate walked out hurriedly. There was a moment of silent before he held out a hand to his mate face but she slapped it away.

“You really are not in the mood to talk to me today, am going on a little journey, when I come back, we will talk, do take care of yourself my heart”. Immediately he finished he left. Rowen felt like running after him.
