Chapter 7: Brewing Trouble.

"We have paid off our debts thanks to Anaaya." Bhaswar sighed in relief after he got the written promissory note from the village chief. Being free from debts made him feel so light at heart. It was like a huge burden has been lifted from his shoulders. Even though his situation got better, the life of the other villagers were still in turmoil.

The hooligans were wreaking up the home next to their hut. The kids were frozen stiff from fear while their father was getting beaten up black and blue. The mother of the kids pleaded with the guy to stop. He simply pushed her away as he continued to beat the man up until he passed out. Anaaya and Dhruv who were roaming happened to spot this. Dhruv wanted to help but Anaaya stopped him.

"Look, everyone already knows you are stupid. Just don't add to that!" Her voice was cold as she rolled her eyes at him.
