Chapter 10: Fight back.

"HELP!!! Please help us!! My daughter!!"

A dreadful cry of an widowed woman was heard. Dhruv and Bhaswar rushed towards the direction of the voice. They found the fat guy whom Anaaya wanted to meet, dragging a young girl by force. She asked them to stay out throughout her conversation with that hooligan. They were not aware of her plans.

Bhaswar rushed to help the girl. He was already feeling bad for not being able to protect his sister even though he had the power to do it. But to their surprise Anaaya stopped him with a sweet smile on her lips.

"Look at the villagers."

The villagers eyes were filled with contempt and anger. It seemed like they were nearly on the verge of snapping. They have been subjected to such crude treatement by the chief for nearly an year now. It would be weird if they didn't respond.

They both understood Anaaya was trying to use their pent up frustrations against the chief.
